Avatar f tn If you're young, just walking might not do it. If you've been completely sedentary, doing anything that adds movement will help, but again, if you're young, you might want to look into something more vigorous than walking.
Avatar f tn I try and work as long as possible...
Avatar n tn We don't really do diet plans, but you can do that via the Diet Diary app... it will help you figure out the number of calories you need/day, plus the amount of protein, carbs, fat, etc... Focus on lean protein, healthful fats, veggies...
Avatar f tn That's sort of what i was thinking, that I might change my mind after baby has arrived. Work actually asked me today what my plans are for maternity leave and return post baby! I'm only 19 weeks, so seems early to make any decisions still.
Avatar f tn Ya luckily I don't have to work(my fiancé works and makes enough) so I can continue school.
4484425 tn?1384228334 I have a cousin who is an RN and used to work for a clinic that did colonoscopies and she got weekends off, holidays, and worked business joursso she could spend time with her daughter. Some great opportunities on the field. She is a single parent too.
Avatar f tn ve been trying to lose weight and it just will not work ave tryed every diet. Walking. Exercise.lifting weights.calorie counting.not eating. Diet pills. I drink water like crazy and exercise and walk. Everyday. And I only eat 400 calories a day which is usually only 3 meals a day. Someone got any comment. What else is there for me to do?
Avatar n tn Our daughter is living at home with us after finishing college last year. She's 22. Publically she espouses a vegetarian diet (we do not), but primarily late at night or during the day when we're at work and she has an evening work shift, she chews and spits almost anything she can find in the kitchen, vegetarian or not. If we ask her not to eat something because we have future plans for it, it makes no difference.
Avatar f tn Picking up the nieces and nephew from school, hitting up Sonic then going to see a friends baby she had Tues. Ahhh the joys of pregnant ladies!
973741 tn?1342342773 Happy New Year! This is the time of year that my gym FILLS to the brim with the new years resolution folks! I'm a little miffed at myself. I had been doing very well and had lost some weight and was regular at the gym up until the week before Christmas and then . . . BOOOOOOO. Eating like a maniac and not working out much at all. The temps plummeted so my walking came to an end as well. I did walk one night when it was 12 degrees last week and it took me hours to thaw. ha ha.
Avatar f tn Juices don't contain certain essential nutrients, like protein and healthy fats. Protein is important in helping to maintain muscle mass as you drop pounds, while both protein and fat help give you a sense of fullness after a meal. All the pulp you see left over in the trash compartment of your juicer is the fiber your body is missing out on when you consume juices. Fiber also plays a role in making you feel full and combats bloating and constipation.
1419259 tn?1303438666 This time around, I am going to take a breastfeeding class and work with a lactation consultant before hand so that hopefully my son and I will have an easier time of it. I am only returning to work part time, so that should help.
Avatar f tn I'm planning my shower and i am stumped on non embarrassing games. I don't want to do any embarrassing games like eating chocolate pudding from a diaper (I love pudding too much) I am doing the "guess how big my belly is game..." and that's the only one I could come up with. Also, the shower is gonna be in a medium sized meeting/party room in a hotel. Not inviting more than 30ppl or so...
915119 tn?1341948989 My husband wasn't very motivating. He always said he didn't care if I lost weight, but I did care. Well lets see how it goes for us after we pop out these babies!!
Avatar f tn I was told that once a week is within the normal limits. I'm usually once a week myself and I do a double dose of Miralax per day. Sometimes it gets very long and even became a couple days short of a month once ... hardly seems even possible not to have a bm for an entire month but I went through it. So you are not alone.
Avatar f tn All things you should be aware of and if possible make sure your wishes are known!
Avatar f tn KellyA, that sounds absolutely gorgeous!!! But I think the green would look better on the lower half, with yellow on the top half!!! Yellow can get dirtier faster, so putting it higher with help with that. My youngest's room is pale blue on the bottom half and pale yellow on the top half of her walls. We have a border of stars and moons instead of a chair rail (I plan on putting chair rails in with the next baby because I love 'em!). babbles, I love your decor and colors too!!!
Avatar f tn I used determination, good breathing and positioning techniques, time spent in water, perineal massage, absolute confidence in myself and my midwife, and more stubborn determination. No drugs. It was really hard but frankly it was amazing. I absolutely cannot wait to do it again. Acupressure and other holistic methods really aren't my thing but I say whatever you think is right for you - go for it!
2217782 tn?1394363972 Have you thought about working out instead of dieting? I know that weight loss plans usually include both, but because you have an ED, maybe simply adding a workout regimen would be healthier. I usually do five days a week, three days cardio (45-50 minutes a day) and two days strength training (varies, 30-45 minutes a session). Just make sure you don't start eating more than you currently do when you start working out.
Avatar f tn I don't know where you live but in the state of Minnesota it is required by law that your employer gives you a 15 minute break for every four hours you work. I'd look into it. That's mean to expect anyone pregnant or not to go 7 hrs without eating.
Avatar f tn Might want to look into that before you get to grandiose with that plan.
Avatar f tn When your Thyroid does not work anymore can it cause exssecive weight gain with no stopping it?
392430 tn?1382904781 When we bought our house we painted the room across the hall a kind of khaki color. We knew it would be baby room but we didn't want to not paint it because it was this awful blue color...floor to ceiling! (Think of the kids' toothpaste that is deep blue with glittery silver in it..that color blue!) So we chose neutral. I am glad we did because now we can do whatever we want and then when we re-sell our house in a few years it won't be a weird color.
