My mother went on a fast ats lost a decent amount of weight she only drank water and used little cubes of beef and chicken stock for flavor. I believe if you keep your belly full with water you won't be hungry. Good luck dearest!
Avatar f tn The easiest way to loose weight is to identify what type of food you consume the most, then quit eating it for a few weeks. For example: if you drink soda everyday stop drinking it. If you eat dairy products a lot, eleminate them. If you want drop the pounds in a few days, follow this plan. Drink only tea for breakfast and lunch, then have a big salad with chicken or something healthy for dinner; Don't forget to drink lots of water!!

Slow and steady weight loss is what stays off the best because in doing it you've permanently changed your dietary and exercise habits instead of gone off on a short-term digression.

I know that weight loss plans usually include both, but because you have an ED, maybe simply adding a workout regimen would be healthier. I usually do five days a week, three days cardio (45-50 minutes a day) and two days strength training (varies, 30-45 minutes a session). Just make sure you don't start eating more than you currently do when you start working out.

This also discourages me. I'm starting my new workout plans when I get off from my midnight shift tonight.

Avatar f tn The truth is that 146 can be healthy weight for you if you are a bigger-framed person with lots of muscle mass. But I imagine you will feel even better if you got down below 140 or even 135. There is some data that whey protein shortly after exercise can help muscles heal and also aid weight loss. Make sure that you find one without additional calories added in the form of sugar, and take it with plenty of water. Best of luck to you!

Ask her to make sure there are plenty of fresh veggies for every meal, as well fresh raw veggies to snack on, fruit, and plenty of lean protein. You'll have to give up things made with white flour and sugar, such as breads, pastries, sodas, etc -- simple carbs. Exercise is very important and there's almost always time to do a little bit. Try walking to school, participate in sports, etc.

Avatar f tn It sounds like you've got momentum, you just need to know how to keep going. After a while you will hit a plateau in your weight loss; don't stress-change it up. For example I first started loosing weight by cutting out the crap from my diet and having a normal sleep schedule. Then I fixed my diet so it was a healthy balanced diet and started to learn how to swim. Over the past 2 years and 40lbs I've had to periodically switch up my work out routines and total calories.

Skulleton If you were my patient, I would advise you to check into a few different weight loss plans--that way when you get bored with one, you can move to another. Believe it or not, Weight Watchers is one of the absolute best success stories around--probably because it is more than a diet--it teaches you to change your bad eating habits. Hope this helps!
