Avatar f tn Weight watchers or any healthy diet plan with exercise and a personal counselor that will take your calls, and support you through the process. Cognitive behavior therapy with a good psychologist would probably help since you are in obsessive mode.
Avatar f tn Have you tried tracking your calories in the food diary so that you can keep track of everything that you eat? If weight watchers (a very low calorie eating plan) worked in the past, chances are, you are currently eating too many calories and need to cut back on the calories and increase your exercise. As much as I hate to hear it and say it.....it is calories in vs calories out. Maybe consider joining weight watchers again if that has worked in the past. Good Luck!
Avatar f tn i have been doing weight watchers for 4 weeks and have only lost 2 lb i have started walkiing 2 hrs every day and a tia bow class once a week, also i have been jogging on my trampoline for 15 min a night .
Avatar f tn Has anyone done this diet and seen the results they were looking for? I'm very interested in Weight Watchers and would like to hear people's experiences to know I'm not going to wasting my time and money..... Any responses are welcome. THANKS.
Avatar f tn I think there are two types of Weight Watchers plans you can do, the plan where you count points and the one where it is a lower carb diet. Anyways, I gained weight on weight watchers before, when there wasn't the lower carb choice. I am now doign South Beach and have had success this week.
649848 tn?1534633700 For example, are you on a commercial plan, such as Nutri-system, Medi-Fast, Atkins, Weight Watchers, etc, or are you working on lifestyle changes that you’ll stick with over the long term? Are you reaching your goals on your plan?
Avatar f tn You eliminate carbs the first 2 weeks and after that you slowly reintroduce them. It is very much like Clean Eating and Weight Watchers core plan once you are done with the first two weeks. I am currently working phase 2 of the plan..but I know with Turkey day tomorrow I will probably switch back to phase one of the plan for the following week.
172023 tn?1334672284 Most of these are Core, for those on Weight Watchers. All are delicious. Hands down, my favorite recipe site for healthy meals no matter what eating plan you are on. http://www.freewebs.com/hwc1973/index.
Avatar f tn virtually no vegetables, lots of fried food, large quantities. I have done Weight Watchers off and on most of my adult life (since age 20), but have gone years in between being on the program. I am not obese, but at 5'2" I am somewhat overweight--I vary from about 140-150 most of the time. For several years, I've had chest pains from time-to-time...I've had EKGs and Echocardiograms, but nothing strange has been found.
Skulleton If you were my patient, I would advise you to check into a few different weight loss plans--that way when you get bored with one, you can move to another. Believe it or not, Weight Watchers is one of the absolute best success stories around--probably because it is more than a diet--it teaches you to change your bad eating habits. Hope this helps!
Avatar f tn I have been doing weight watchers for about a year now and have always been very regular with my bowel movements throughout that time. Earlier this summer, I started slacking in my seriousness about weight watchers and that lasted pretty much all summer until about a week ago. During that time I still was eating a good amount of fiber (fruits, veggies, whole grains, etc) so I was regular during that time.
Avatar n tn I joined weight watchers and have lost 15 in 2 and half months I also do curves but if u plan on breastffeeding weight watchers accounts for that and that 15 lbs after I lost the baby weight
1905208 tn?1321793187 HCG Diet protocol directs you always about the perfect diet. i love the way it works towards weight loss. The HCG eating plan is particularly restrictive through with don’t just the number of calories you may consume per day, but what types of foods makes up many calories.
676912 tn?1332812551 I used weight watchers method to lose the almost 40lbs I gained with Franky. It's basically portion control and food choices. If you want to eat mcdonalds you can, but then that is all you are allowed to eat for the day pretty much...lol. I bought the book set on ebay for $50 I think, and never joined the group just did it on my own. It tells you all the foods points even for restaraunts, and how many you are allowed for your specific body type and goals.
1401296 tn?1280799533 Thank you for the advice. I totally caved and am trying to get back on track. I'm not even sure if the low carb plan is the right way of eating for me. I'm wondering if Weight Watchers would be a better option. Gosh I just want to lose weight...I've got to find something that works for me. Fixing to check out my BMR...
Avatar m tn That said, my husband recently went on the Weight Watchers diet (this is a plan, not a bunch of food you buy) and lost 12 pounds his first week and three pounds his second week. Their biggest thing is portion control and his biggest change was not snacking after dinner (all evening long). Good luck!
Avatar n tn There are many good ones including weight watchers. Meeting with a nutritionist to devise a weight loss plan is also quite helpful overall. Increasing physical activity is a good ideal. Overall, most people WILL lose weight if they restrict their food enough, so if he is not losing weight then he needs to eat even less. But this does not mean the weight will stay off or even continue to drop. He may need some medication help as well.
Avatar f tn Track and be honest about what your eating. Measure yourself at the start, you can lose inches before you lose weight. Weight watchers is not a diet but a lifestyle change. Keep positive and start by giving yourself small goals to achieve. Happy tracking.
Avatar f tn Also just to let ya know, weight watchers has an awesome diet plan exclusively for mothers who are nursing:) my sister has lost over 70lbs in less than 6 months by using weight watchers!
Avatar m tn ve been following Weight Watchers for 2 months, very faithfully, writing everything down, staying within my points range and I haven't lost a pound! Up 1lb. one week, down 1lb. the next week. This goes on week after week and I stay the same. I exercise my butt off at least 6 days a week for an hour or more a day. Cardio/weight training and Karate 3x a week. I've had my Thyroid checked and everything is normal. I've done Weight Watchers in the past and have been very successful.
Avatar f tn t going to lose weight unless you work hard at it. I suggest you talk to your doctor and see what kind of weight-loss plan you can devise. Also, one form of exercise that does chip off the weight slowly but surely, is walking. If workouts are too much or too hard to keep up, try building a walking pattern into every day. (Park further from your work or school and walk the difference, etc.) Or just walk every night.
Avatar f tn I have taken phentermine for weight loss under the direction of a doctor and lost 40lbs. I feel great. I'm continuing with the same exercise and diet regimine (weight watchers), that I was on while taking the phentermine and I seem to be putting some weight back on. I dont quite understand this. I was wondering if anyone knows of any over the counter medications that help to supress appetite because it seems the only way i'll stay thin is to practicly starve myself.
539156 tn?1281818356 By the way, I'm on the Flex Plan. I have to learn more about the Core plan, so I will keep my eyes open to see what Peek has to say about it.
