Avatar n tn Stress can easily precipatate eating disorder symptoms. Even though you do not know how to classify your eating disorder at this time, it is not necessary. Since you are in college, I would recommend that you go to the college health center to check on your physical concerns and seek counseling from the school's counseling department. Since eating disorders can be as high as 20% on college campuses, many colleges have specialists in eating disorders. Eating disorders are quite complex.

971577 tn?1304711266 I would have genetic testing done for a genetic disorder called Aperts Syndrome. I lost my first born a little girl to this disorder in 2002. Her deformities such as webbed fingers and toes, water on the brain, craniofacial abnormalities, and cleft pallate and others did NOT show up on ultrasound. She passed away 30 minutes after birth, due to internal abnormalities and being born 2 months premature. It is a very rare condition, only 1 in 200,000 live births occur with this disorder.

I haven't truely ever worked out, I've just been very very lucky. Even after having two kids, I lost all the weight without doing much. Avatar f tn Being fearful of gaining weight and continually working to keep your weight at an unnatural low is indeed the sign you may have an eating disorder. Nobody can diagnose you online but I assume you are posting because you suspect that is what is going on. But you are ahead of the game because you recognize it is not healthy! I encourage you to get some help. It may not be something you can just figure your way out of.
1564404 tn?1295154236 You definitely have an eating disorder. There is something called non specific, where you niether fit exactly into a catergory.Purging is not good for you ,EVER. NO matter how often , its so bad for your body and teeth. I have suffered from bulimia and I know its a struggle. MY advice is to not restrict yoursefl to 300 cal a day or anything under1200-1500. Your body will go into starvation mode and retain more water and food and in the long run it will make you fatter and unhealthy.

2150896 tn?1337513198 The autoimmune disorders definitely run in families. They can also come in groups of two or more in the same person. My hubby's close relative now has RA (well known in the women in the family), Lupus, and Reynaud's. I have a distant relative who has fibromyalgia-like pain, as do a few of her female relatives on her mother's side. She sent me a copy of a fascinating study of a new breakthrough discovery.

Taking it as an HGH enhancer will give you an anti-aging effect. You must take 10-12 grams 30 minutes prior to falling asleep to get this release of HGH as an anti-aging effect. For an athletic effect, take your supplement prior to exercise.
Avatar n tn Having bipolar disorder myself, I usually check into this sort of thing. The last I heard they suspect a genetic link as mental illnesses do seem to run in families, but that doesn't mean that your son will definitely have it. For instance, my paternal great grandmother either had schizophrenia or bipolar type I (It's hard to determine since I never knew her and only have stories to go off of, and nothing was diagnosed since this was pre-psychiatric help being normal.).
