Avatar f tn I heard body by vi is healthy for pregnant women...but idk. It still creeps me out. I would say go with your gut. I like how kd97229 makes them-- with soymilk. It's way better for you and you know exactly what's going into your smoothie or shake. Powdered stuff is filled with questionable crap that I would only take at my own risk...not my baby's too. But it could be worth it to take a trip to GNC and ask them there?
Avatar f tn t take that much out of you physically. Eat healthy in general and take a multivitamin and you should be fine. Agree with drinking plenty of water.
Avatar n tn Eat dark green leafy veggies (especially kale, spinach). Antioxidants, especially those found in green tea (proved to reach the retina). Lutein is also good supplement for eyes. Blueberries. Beta carotene and vitamin A. Cod liver oil (omega 3). Stay away from processed foods. Eat organic when possible.
Avatar f tn I get pain in my gastric system from the regular (not honey nut) cheerios - I've always gotten this since I was a kid. It's the only thing in the world that does this to me. I eat really well and only buy Cheerios on occasion for doing crafts with my kids, but sometimes "indulge" and regret it EVERY time. I have no idea WHY this would happen but I sense some serious BAD vibes from General Mills and all those nasty corporations - steer clear.
Avatar m tn I have been thinking about this Post and how to answer you, you must mean Physically strong,I think maybe it depends what kind of food ,good healthy nutrious food you dont need a lot of, or they eat several meals a day smaller portions, or if you mean you are taking quality food and you arent strong ,maybe it is the kind of food you are eating, Maybe you are stronger than you think, when we are tested we are often stronger.

Avatar f tn I would personally suggest first. Drink as much water as you can ( I drink 4-6 liters a day) that will help you with hunger. Also, try eating small meals/snacks every 2 hours.. for example. Yesterday I had 8am- banana with peanut butter, granola and raisins on top 11- Greek yogurt with fresh kiwi cut up in it 130pm- I had some almonds and dried fruit..with some cottage cheese 4pm- carrots and broccoli 6pm- a bowl of frosted mini wheats This is just an example what I eat/like food wise..

Avatar f tn things my doctor recommends for blood pressure are to lose weight (if you have some to lose), exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet. I would consult with your doctor on this to get a 'plan' in place. I wouldn't think that the pain behind your ear is related. I had blood pressure higher than this with pregnancy and things I noticed were eye issues (seeing spots), light headedness, etc. I would schedule a doc's appt.
Avatar f tn JesiF, thats an estimate of the calories that you burned doing the exercise, not calories consumed.
Avatar f tn m not familiar at all with eating properly, or a healthy diet. My last doctors visit was really good, all my stats were great, but I know I eat a lot of junk food. My eating habits are terrible, so I'm surprised that I have been able to maintain good health. My dad had diabetes and was slim just like me when he was younger. I thought about becoming a vegan, but my doctor recommended against it.

Avatar f tn Hello. As a child I grew up near old mill complexes. My friends and I would play in fields and alleyways adjacent to the mills. This was in the 60's before there were state and federal regulations concerning toxic waste disposal. There were barrels of waste from the mills where we played. These barrels oozed sludge and liquid that we called "rainbow water." We would make mud pies from this stuff.

My hair was very full and healthy a year ago and now it looks drastically different. I did some research and thought that maybe it could be a thyroid problem. I have not gotten any tests as of yet. I would like advice on what it possibly good be? Any ideas?
Avatar m tn I was diagnosed this week with allergies to barley, wheat and oatmeal. I have digestive issues when I eat these items. I have tried the Bob's Red Mill Gluten-Free Flour to make corn muffins and I had slight stomach ache. I also had strong pain and gas in response to a multi-grain gluten-free pasta from DeBoles. Neither of these have any of the three ingredients.
Avatar m tn And I understand if sometimes you don´t feel hungry when you have so much work to do but you should try to eat more than you have eaten lately, and eat something healthy and if you don´t feel improvement, you should contact your doctor. By the way, how is your stool? Is it regular (how often)? Have you seen any changes like mucus or blood, or any change in color? Do you feel pain? Have you noticed any changes in general (except for loosing weight and having no appetite)?
