Evillady I went the easy way. I just removed from my diet, anything "white". Rice, potatoes, pasta, products made with flour. I also took out peas, and many beans as well. I replaced them with cheese, olives, nuts, meats, and lots of eggs. At one time, I was consuming nearly 18 eggs per week. I've dialed that back to half that now. Eating "Paleo" works for me.

Avatar f tn Lady's please shear some of the recipes you use during pregnancy. I feel empty or ideas sometimes plus I don't really feel hungry at all.
Avatar f tn I was diabetic before pregnancy. And when I discovered I was pregnant I had to really watch what I ate. Eat 6 small meals a day. It helps you not become super hungry where you overload on stuff your not supposed to eat. I don't have and meal or snack ideas. I just load up on protein and watch my carbs. So for instance if it's tacos for dinner I would just change it up to a taco salad all the meat and cheese veggie fixings with a tortilla or a serving of rice on the side.
Avatar n tn im needing to find a simple diabetic diet plan. the doctor gave me one but it seems really complicated. does anyone know any good sources for diabetic diet plans?
Avatar f tn The best thing to eat in my view is vegetables. Make sure you use only a squeeze of lemon on your salad. Fill up on salad. You know the things you like in salad. Try new things too like spinach instead of lettuce. Then while you are in the market, buy what is in season, like aspergus steam or micro with a little water in a glass dish. Put with fresh sweet red bell peppers or hot ones if you like those. Each night have a different vegetable. For lunch maybe 1.2 can tuna packed in water.
Avatar f tn I always want greasy fast food. my question is can yall give me sone type of recipes for healthy food something simple but yummy nd quick to make.

Make sure you eat protein for breakfast and have protein with your lunch. Make a salad the night before and pack each ingredient individually in your lunch bag, so they don't wilt (or mix the veggies and keep the dressing separate)... then just grab your bag and go the next morning...
