Eas soy protein powder

Common Questions and Answers about Eas soy protein powder

protein

Avatar f tn Well - you have got to have a liquid - so the options are water, milk, or soy/almond/rice/coconut milk. Then you have to have some source of protein. Other than protein powder, you are pretty limited. You don't want to use raw egg. You could use nuts or peanut butter. Other sources of protein such as cooked meat or fish wouldn't be particularly appetizing in a smoothie.
Avatar f tn m not much of a breakfast person but I do love fruit smoothies and I hear that adding protein powder to a shake in the morning could be a good solution. Has anyone ever tried this or known anyone else who has? Really would like to know if its okay.
Avatar n tn My midwife said to have it. Soy is not got andthats in protein stuff but Iif it says soy protein isolate thats okay.
Avatar f tn Yea I'd try to avoid the protein powder and get the protein I need from the food I eat. I'm a vegetarian so I get my protein from tofu and other foods made from soy, beans, nuts, and dairy products. You don't know all the ingredients in the protein powder so I'd ask my doctor about it.
Avatar f tn Soy is known to cause stomach problems maybe stop and see if the pain subsides
Avatar f tn I think the rice protein powder should be fine, then, as long as it's the protein and not just brown rice powder. Soy is a more complete protein, but if you isolate protein, you've got protein no matter the source. And the almond milk is also a good source as long as it doesn't have too much sugar in it. You can also buy chicpea flour, though I'm not sure of the taste and it probably isn't digestible raw.
Avatar f tn I tried googling this earlier in my pregnancy and didn't like what I found... that none are really "good" for me or baby right now. I went with veggie & fruit smoothies and used soy milk as it had higher protein content (vs other but mills). But I want to know if anyone else has found out anything else!
Avatar n tn Eating modest amounts of soy should not be a problem.
Avatar f tn Soy products/tofu are good sources of protein, however, if you have thyroid issues, you should not eat/drink soy. Beans and legumes are also good sources of protein, as are eggs, dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt) and whole grains. I don't eat soy, a lot of beans or legumes, so, unfortunately, I can't provide recipes, but you can do a search.
4808549 tn?1359436104 Hi, there I believe eating a diet reach in soy protein (tau foo, soy milk, soy protein powder, etc) is my answer to enhance my breasts naturally. I complement this diet with herbal breast enlargement serum. By religiously following this regimen my breasts have grown from 34B to 36C. I am 54 and very proud of my firm and sexy cleavage.
Avatar f tn I found a vegetable based protein powder in the health food section of the market by Naturade. It is Soy-free and dairy-free. I make smoothies every morning with this. I also found Hemp Milk at Whole Foods which is completely dairy, soy and salt free, in addition to salt free soups, chicken broth and other quick prep stuff. The diet is extremely restricted, but it's only for a limited time and for a very, very good reason.
Avatar f tn Try making your own with peanut butter, nuts, avocado or other protein boosters.yogurt, milk or almond milk as protein sources. I wouldn't buy protein powders as you don't actually know what is in them besides what is listed like arsenic, lead, mercury. leafy greens are good sources of folate, a key nutrient that helps prevent neural tube defects. Making shakes with fruits and vegetables can also help you reach your dietary fiber intake goals during pregnancy.
Avatar n tn I compete in figure bodybuilding and reqularly take creatine, glutamine, whey protein powder, and BCAAs. What effect will synthroid meds have on these supplements and should I continue using them?

Avatar f tn I'd try to do some shakes. Get a protein shake like Vega and blend in fruit and vegetables. At least you can try to drink it down quickly. I understand where you're coming from! Protein is really important so be sure to add the powder and vary your fruit.
Avatar f tn Hi, I need help to choose good protein powder. I don't get enough protein from my food. I'm exercising 4-5 times a week at least one hour in the gym ( some days classes and some days cardio). My friend recommended to buy protein powder to build muscles and lose more weight. 971283 tn?1247767572 Rheumatoid Arthritis is connected to dairy products, including whey protein powder. . .. absolutely stay away from all dairy products.. also sugars, and soy that contribute to high inflammation rates.. Gluten is also a very high contributor.. I do not know why doctors do not educate those like us, who are in so much pain and active with this disease. I have been able to break free of 4 yrs of steroids, weekly humira shots, methotrexate, etc..
Avatar m tn Kinda new to this PVC - Bigeminy "fun". Trip to the ER, wore a heart rate monitor for 2 months, visit with a cardologist. Pretty much was told what you all are saying...nothing to worry about. But they sure can last for hours and make me feel terrible. This past month I did pretty good. Very few. Feeling better, I went back to my routine where I have a soymilk protein shake for breakfast. 3 days into it, my bigeminy returned.

Avatar f tn Does anyone know anything about protein powder and whether or not its safe to keep drinking? Doctor wont answer questions till my first appointment :( just found out im about 5 weeks pregnant.
Avatar f tn Common high-protein foods contain a lot of minerals and vitamins you need, while protein powder does not. It also does not contain fiber, so it may make you constipated.
Avatar f tn I also ate a ton of dairy (cereal w milk, cottage cheese, cheese, cream cheese). You can also buy protein powder from GNC (check w OB first) and mix it in smoothies or get it in smoothies from Jamba Juice or another smoothie place. I also ate lots of yogurt which is also good for the tummy. I wouldnt avoid dairy it doesn't necessarily cause constipation some people have the opposite from it and more than anything your body needs a TON of calcium in pregnancy.
2030686 tn?1351688548 I got so hooked on rice milk and powdered protein that I still have one daily. They're a great treat AND source of protein. I like the protein powder that uses chick pea for the protein source. Seems less nauseating to me. I'm sorry you have allergies. When you're already sick, the limitations don't help. Have you tried quinoa? It's kind of like rice in that it's flavorless, but it packs a lotta protein and is lighter than rice. Best to ya.
Avatar f tn Cardio alone actually raises your body fat. Whats your diet like? Try increasing your protein intake. EAS makes a great pre- made low carb protein shake, Walmart carries it. I normally eat about 1500 calories.
