What are signs and symptoms of Final Stages of Ovarian Cancer? My mother has a very distended belly, gas build up and pain in her back and also bowel area. She has a G-tube that drains additional gastric fluid, we are giving her zofran for nausea, but seems more uncomfortable the last few days and I am suppposed to return home for 3 weeks, but am hesitating to leave.

Some experience cravings or food aversions and nausea early on, something that I had never read about is stomach soreness, I experienced that before I missed my period. I felt as if I had been doing a lot of ab workouts. With certain movements or stretches I would feel that my insides were really sore probably because of the stretching of the uterus.
It started with lack of apetite, insomnia, and a bulging upper and lower abdomen with this strange knot feeling inside and weight gain even when I was eating less and still exercising. . I see its all in the stomach are and my stomach is really hard. This came on suddenly. I am now extremly dizzy daily am having indigestion, pain in the center of my chest, (sharp pain), feelings of throwing up, weakness and a strange lump on the middle left side of my abdomen just above my belly button.

I'm 38 weeks and 1 day today, I woke up having diarrhea and sick to my stomach all day. A lot of pelvic and back pain. Does this sound like labor soon or did I catch a bug.
I have been getting a rash which is not raised but is red and tends to appear on my stomach and forearms, it comes up and then dissappears (doest stay) I felt as though I was hot but temp ok. I have pain under my arms and in my neck and groin but no swelling that I can see. I have tested negative for Chlamidia and Ghonnorea and Syphillis.
The pain in the lower region of my stomach feels very similar to the first day of my period and likewise to the feeling of the overall sickness that I'm suffering from.
Is it possible that I may be pregnant? Can you get these symptoms a day later?

It is possible that this pain is from something else or perhaps a fibroid or an ovarian remnant stayed on the left and now has a cyst. Yes, the symptoms for cysts and ovarian cancer can be quite similar.
The CA 125 is quite unreliable, especially in pre-menopausal women. However, it can give some insight but definitely not a true indicator. I think it is time to get a second opinion and insist they rule out ovarian cancer.

I asked my doctor if my back ache could be associated with the cyst and she said no, that it is too small to cause symptoms. I have two questions:
1.) Does anyone know what the wording of this report means in simpler terms or is knowing it is a complex cyst all that I can really gather from this?
2.) Has anyone else had a similar cyst with a back ache?
