early pregnancy runny nose

I didn't get a runny rose until later in my pregnancy. Maybe around the second trimester. Ugh probably one of the more annoying symptoms.

Hi, i was just wondering if cold symptoms such as a low grade fever or runny/stuffy nose could be an early pregnancy symptom. im pretty sure its too early for symptoms to arise, being as its only been 5 days..but im concerned..any help is appreciated.

m also finding that I have a little more saliva than usual, I have no pinching/tugging, just the cramping so far, and mildly runny nose, but I had never thought these were pregnancy symptoms till you said! We don't have very good HPT's where I live and the last time I was PG, I didn't get a clear positive till I was almost 5 weeks so I'm not sure whether I should even bother. And many women experience a stuffy nose in early pregnancy because the sudden increase in blood volume causes swelling in your sinuses...but...this can also be because of a change in the weather, etc. I wouldn't count is as a sign, sorry! I've had a cold with all 3 of my pregnancies early in the first trimester, but it's mostly because I've been newly pregnant during cold and flu season!

m feeling full, nauseous, I nap all of the time, have had crazy mood swings, a large increase in white thick cervical mucous, a little tenderness in my cervix, constipation, runny nose then a dry and stuffy nose, feeling a bit weaker, and I just feel like somethings off. Because of my very irregular periods I feel it may be too early to test but I want to know so bad! Have been TTC for a year now but just started clomid. Symptoms started two weeks after I was done taking first round.

If its 11 days until your period is due,then you have only just ovulated.so its to early to tell yet.takes a few days for the egg to develop and do its business symptoms dont start until you start producing pregnancy hormones.wait to see if your period comes,good luck.

Hey ladies I was just wondering if it was common to feel sick like a cold or flu in very very early pregnancy. I am only a few DPO but have had a consistent headache and feel like I may be getting an ear infection on top of just that general sicky feeling. A sore throat, cough and runny nose don't indicate pregnancy, but that does not mean you are not pregnant. The only way you will be able to tell if you are pregnant is to take a home test around the time your next period is due, and / or to take a blood test at the doctor's about 8 or 9 days from the unprotected sex.

Not to detract from your situation though.. I once had a too runny nose also - then had surgery to staighten a deviated septum and open the nose some without removing turbinates. I was good for a few years, then started getting beat-up by the dryness condition. -But the point is I know where you're at, and it is annoying. In my present condition, I see some improvement when eating - apparently because the salivary glands are stimulated and the nose-throat are better moisturized.

I have a runny nose 12 months of the year. I take cortisone nose spray and anti histamine tablets to no avail. I have had allergy tests that have come back negative but food allergy tests have come back with a number of food allergies. Could a food allergy cause a runny nose?

One year olds can sometimes put a foreign body in the nose which can cause runny nose. Check that out with an ENT. Also check out a deviated nasal septum. Hay fever and allergic rhinitis should be ruled out. Persistence of RSV should also be looked into. Normally the food allergens cause only gastric symptoms. However if the allergen is absorbed and reaches the airways it can cause hay fever and asthma like symptoms. Hope this helps.

My dad is 84 and has a runny nose 3 to 4 times a day. It is just water that comes out of his nose. Just clear and he has to have a tissue right away. And he doesnt have a cold or anything. Has anyone had or heard of anything like this?

It may just be a small reaction such as your runny nose, but as you keep consuming the beverage, the reaction could get worse.

I have had terrible nose bleeds since about 8w. Im now 12w 4d and have put a humidifyer in my room and it seems to have helped at least slow them down.
