Early pregnancy pain on left side

Common Questions and Answers about Early pregnancy pain on left side

pregnant

Everything does seem to happen earlier the second time around, but I agree that 4 weeks is a bit early for round ligament pain. It IS very common for pain to occur early on, and even fairly severe pain can be normal. It is also good that you got it checked out and they basically didn't find anything wrong. One thing that I see over and over again in pregnancy, is bowel problems.
I'm experiencing similar pains today, especially on my left side...sometimes a stabbing pain but mostly just pulling, almost like I moved wrong and pulled something. Aslo had some pain across the front. I had it with both of my other pregnancies and all was fine. Just make sure to mention it at your appointment. Even though I know it's normal I still start to worry so I know how you feel!!
I have this slight pain in my upper left side...I dont know if its associated w/ pregnancy or not because I dont if I am or not...however, if I am I would suspect to be about 6-8 weeks...so could this be that pain I feel?
does the uncomfortable feeling kind of go down the leg as well,,, cause my pain is only on my left side, and it does go kind onto the butt area,,, but from time to time it does go to my left leg???
I had bad cramping when I miscarried, but they found a cyst on my left ovary which is why I had more pain on that side. I also have fibroids on my uterus which have caused bad cramping in the past. So you may not be pregnant, but it could be a cyst. Or it could be implantation - though I don't think the cramping should be that bad. If you o'd on 8/2, implantation would just now be happening and it could be another week until you would get a definite positive.
I am 5 weeks +5 days and this is my 1st pregnancy. I have a sharp pain on my left side last night and it went away but for about 3 hrs today I've had the sharp pain on n off. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
Its really crazy how we are already feeling symptoms already, for a week now i have been having mild cramping but What worries me is that i have also been getting weird pain in my left ovary side, but no bleeding. just worried if Its an eptopic pregnancy. Has anyone else had this symptom?
I had a cyst on my left ovary at the beginning of this pregnancy it was very painful on my left side and I was sure I had an eptopic. But, I found it very interesting (after my freak out..lol) that this cyst was caused by the folicle that the egg came out of, and it is called a corpus luteum. It actually produces progesterone to help support the hormone hikes in early pregnancy. After your placenta takes over it should disolve.
early pregnancy back pain is a normal phenomenon in early pregnancy. Most of the expectant mothers witness some degree of back pain during the early phase of pregnancy and this pain generally subsides after about 20 weeks.

-- Crohn's disease (pain in the right side) or ulcerative colitis (with pain in the left side). pain or tenderness in the lower left side of the abdomen, along with fever. You may also have nausea, vomiting, chills, stomach cramps, and either diarrhea or constipation.----Diverticulitis” Please consult your doctor. Hope this helps. I am having a lot of pain in the back hip part on my left side. It has been coming and going for 6 years now since I had my first baby. There are times when I can not even put pressure on my left leg to walk. It hurt just about all the time more when my period comes some. Not so much when the seasons change. It can be 92 degrees outside and still hurt. What do I need to do? I been to several doctors and each doctor says different. Any clues for me on what to do.
Today I slipped on ice and fell landing on my belly left side on a concrete stair, my stomach hurts but there is no bleeding and the pain isn't that intense, should I still be checked out??
Today I have been nauseous since breakfast, had cramps, a little bit of back pain and my left bb is really sore on the side. I don't really count the bb being sore because I always have sore bbs before AF. Is this just a side effect of Clomid or possible an early pregnancy sign? Thanks so much for your help!
I am 5 weeks pregnant and am having pain on my left side under my hip bone. I don't know if it's ligaments stretching or something more serious like an ectopic pregnancy. I had a m/c in Feb so I'm very nervous this time. Thanks for any input.
Most of the time it is on my left to middle side of my uterus. Is this normal or should I be worried. What if I am ectopic and I wait the two weeks for the u/s, is it possible to have any complications such as the loss of a tube at this point?
Now I am little worried becuase of a pain on the left side of the abdomen and some twinges in the centre and right side too ..But there is slight (continous) pain on the left side.. I do have other symptoms of pregnancy but my urine test and blood test reports are negative. I got a ultra sound scan scheduled in another 4 days. what I am concerned about is did anyone have one sided pain in early pregnancy?? or is mine a ectopic one?
I ALWAYS get cramps on my right side b4 my cycle, but this time I was gettin sharp cramps on my left side so, I thought well maybe... and sure enough that was it(BFP).
Today I have been nauseous since breakfast, had cramps, a little bit of back pain and my left bb is really sore on the side. I don't really count the bb being sore because I always have sore bbs before AF. Oh I forgot I have also been having really bad pain in my hip joint at night. I usually only have this if I wear my heels for too long that day but I have not wore heels in two weeks. My temp is also up.
Please help me on this one.
Sue, 3 days post ov is a tad on the early side for symptoms! I have pregnancy symptoms every day. If I turn up pregnant, you can go ahead and alert the media!
If this is your first pregnancy and your stomach feels hard at 6 weeks (I think you said), it might be gas, I had a lot of that early on with my last pregnancy, but don't worry, your belly will soon be growing and getting harder and then you'll wish you still had that little waistline, although the weight gain is worth it. Good luck and enjoy getting bigger, it's the best time of your life and think....
Cramping is really common in pregnancy, especially early pregnancy. The times when you should start to become concerned are when they cause you to double up in pain or cause tears, or when you have them accompanied by bleeding. Good luck!!
I have been getting lower abdomen pain for the last week mostly on the right side but it has come on the left occasionally. Is this normal?
in part, we have not been able to have a reliable test for early detection because there are few if any symptoms to early ovarian cancer. pain can be due to a ruptured ovarian cyst, a cyst that twists, or something unrelated such as spasm of the bowel. It is very reassuring that your pain is better. Most cysts are functional which means that your cyst may have been related to ovulation. It may look funny because of some bleeding into it which is common after ovulation.
All those other dumb symptoms were just the side effects of hcg trigger shots. I'm feeling this off/on sharp, but tolerable pain on my right side. I told myself I wouldn't come on here because I was reading too much into everyone elses symptoms and thinking, YEP that's me too. It's weird, it didn't hit me when I first saw the HPTN, but rather 1/2 hr later or so. I had tears rolling down my face.
Now yesterday i spotted again twice, but it was like air coming out also and so again i thought it was my period. I felt dizzy again and had a headache and also some back pain on my left side near my ribs that really hurts. Now today i feel dizzy, my nipples are tender and when i use the bathroom and wipe my self it looks a little dark, not sure if its blood. i dont want to go the hospital because im scared, but i dont know whats going on with me.
My LMP was on the 8th October. I am experiencing cramping on my left side, occasional heartburn, occasional headaches and backache, cravings, eating more, bloating. As for my breast- well, it is difficult to say as I am breastfeeding but I have been having mild pain which I have not had since my milk came in. Oh yes, very strange baby dreams. I took a sensitive pregnancy test this morning which was negative. What do you think ladies?
