early pregnancy glow

So my whole life I've been told that pregnant women get a "pregnancy glow".. I was excited for this when I found out I was pregnant. However, all I got was dry skin!!! Mainly on my face around my nose! It's SO annoying. I have tried everything and it just won't go away... But on the bright side, I do look good pregnant and at 39 weeks I have no stretch marks. So can't complain I guess...

No glow unless you count being so pale you glow in the dark lol! But this pregnancy is better than the last.

its not just the oil its ure body in general u have double the amount of blood that causes that glow that ppl are talking abt not the oil. Ive been told by many already that i have that pregnancy glow but i know its not from the oil. I take it as a compliment!

Pregnancy glow lol I definitely dont hv that I did with my boys..but with my daughter now nope feel ugly pale ..skin dry.. dont get it I use all bliss creams with grapefruit and vitamin e.. but no help ..ima go for facial tomorrow hopefully I can add some collagen to skin to give a glow remove some toxins off of skin..

Psh there aint no such thing as pregnancy "glow" i feel like a fat *** 24/7. And not just in appearence. Im lazier im boring im extremely pissy all the time.

Omg yes my skin broke out horrible around 8 week I'm now 17 and my skin looks even worse and is now dry and flaky......

The pregnancy "glow" happens because our hormones cause extra blood flow in our hands, feet, and face.

On my first pregnancy, I had a co-worker tell me I had a pregnancy glow. Made me feel radiant. No Lie, less than 5 min later another co-worker told me to wipe my face goes it was shiny (oily). Can't win. Pregnancy definitely has it's highs and lows. The symptoms you are describing sound pretty typical. I think the energy burst come later... Getting involved in a pregnancy fitness group sounds like I could help.

no not everyone, some people look shocking while pregnant but most peopl when they get into the second trimester have the pregnancy glow going on lol, it generally when you feel the best as well, :)

Same here everyone says ihave that pregnancy glow lol. I feel different but can't see my glow haha.

I think the pregnancy glow is beautiful. When we were ttc and I would see a woman with the glow I would be a little jealous.

For me, the #1 myth was "the glow". you know what i'm talking about! that "glow" pregnant women get that turns out to be blotchy skin and/or acne? I was so suckered in on that one.

m on number 3 pregnancy and not sure the glow will come either. My two kids keep me tired and by the end of the day my hair is falling out of its bun. :-) Keep positive thoughts it will come.

With my 1st pregnancy I had zero acne and had the perfect glow and turned out to be a baby girl. This is my second pregnancy I will be 8w Monday and I have acne like crazy they are so small and painful I also have them on my shoulders and back as well.
