I have just thought of an important question, one which could revolutionise the treatment of heart disease. IF creases in ear lobes is associated with heart disease, does that mean if you have them cosmetically removed, heart disease will disappear? Is that what we are suggesting here?

Its a myth. Both my husband and I have earlobe creases and we have NO heart disease, no blockages.

My son was born with creases on both ear lobes. We do have a history of heart disease in our family. Has there been any link in children with this to later heart disease? Should I have my son checked by his pediatrician?

In college I lifted weight for 3 weeks and got a thick stretch mark on my arm. I said fine, I just don't have to lift weights. At 21 I got some fine stretch marks on my hip from working at a restaurant. Life will go on. At 24, I developed a double wrinkle around my neck, thinning of the skin over the clavicles, and rosacea (what a year!). I thought it was from the jock itch cream I was taking and I waited for the wrinkles to fill back in which they didni't. Then I forgot about it.

Hi My father in law died from a cardiac arrest as a result of furred arteries at the age of 65, his brother died at the age of 39 from a heart condition - my husband was already concerned about heart disease in the family and even more so since we read of the ear lobe crease connection. The main thing about an echo is that your cardiologist said your heart was normal structurally, no heart disease. You should retest in a few years and make sure the leakage isn't getting worse, but this is all pretty normal. There is no way I know of to reverse this, only thing I know of is a valve replacement, but that's only for pretty severe cases. You should direct any questions concerning exercise to your doctor but I would imagine there's no issue there either. Good luck!

I have deep wrinkles on top of my scalp, at first i thought it had to do with the fact im a little overweight but i was overweight when i was a kid and didnt have this, then i found out that its a disease called cutis verticis gyrata . Coming out of anesthesia he could not hear in his good ear. He lost hearing in the right ear due to an auto immune disease 10 years prior. The surgeon did permit 5 mg. of Prednisone had he had some improvement so he could hear himself talk. Currently he can't hear up to 100 decibels in the left ear, but in the previously deaf ear he can hear up to 85 decibels. We are hoping that a stronger round of Prednisone will help him. Thank you!

I have had nose bleeds only out of my left nostril. Now I have been experiencing a pulsating noise in my left ear only. It sounds like my heart beating in my ear. I have experienced ringing, popping, buzzing and wooshing in the same ear for years. I have been treated for High Blood pressure for 10+ years. I was diagnosed when I was 15 years old. I am now 32. I am a female who is not over weight and I do not smoke.

Slightly elevated, but not too bad. And I can feel my heart, especially in my right ear for this period of time. It is most annoying when I try to sleep. I need to take a sleeping pill (Lunesta) just to calm the pounding in my ear. I don't feel tired and there is NO pain in my chest or lightheadedness or headache. Just the incessant pounding. It almost seems like I have a spike of adenalin that doesn't disapate for a long period of time.

It may be related to a structural problem in your neck, maybe related to spine disease, muscular problems, or even nerve root disease. But I am fairly certain it is not related to heart disease.

i recently accidently produced wrinkles under my eyes from trying to rub soap out of my eyes in the shower, the soap , and i tried getting it out in the shower by rubbing my eyes because they were stinging and since soap on skin creates a lot of friction i discovered i got wrinkles the next day and the skin under my eyes its a bit more corse than usual. i must of stretched the fibres of my skin im only 20.

I ha the same problem until I was diagnosed with hypertension or really high blood pressure. I was put on a med called lisinopril and it fixed that problem within a week.
