I have a 5 year old daughter who has been suffering dizziness spells for two weeks. She has been diagnosed with a middle ear infection but the E-N-T is not sure if that is what is causing the dizzy spells. A neurologist despite a clear EEG has reccomended epilex and a diagnosis of acute paroxysmal vertigo . A second doctor has asked us to put her on stugeron 25 mg/ day -- We have started the stugeron but not the epilex --however her symptoms persist .Very confused what should we do ?
Thanks, good to hear that my symptoms aren't related to hiv. I was recently diagnosed with genital herpes...never had any vaginal sores - married 15 years/unhappily. Apparently, my husband knew and assumed that I knew as well. What brought all this out was that I had an affair with a man which I knew and we had unprotected sex. Well I guess the stress from cheating along with everything else caused me to have an outbreak (still no sores) which I never had.

A lump behind the ear in children could be due to throat infection, insect bite, accidental trauma to the site, ear infection , etc.
Lymph nodes in the region are known as post auricular lymph nodes and can enlarge secondary to infection, inflammation, etc.
You could try some warm compresses at the site, warm saline gargles for his sore throat and some oral antihistamine medications for the swelling.

Im having ear infection due to non gold earrings. during this infection im having severe irritation, scratching swelling and a bad smelled liquid is coming out of it. i cant adjust with gold earrings due to my profession. so kindly help me how will i cure it. also my ears are now little pierce can i join the gap between it. im 21 years age. please help me by prescribing suiatble treatment.

I was diagnosed with a bacterial ear infection in Nov 2011 which the Dr said had spread to my throat, and was given a seven day course of cephalexin (keflex). The throat instantly felt better but the ear infection appeared to spread from the left ear to my right ear (fullness, popping, pain). Hello, so I received oral unprotected from a female and guilt had me running crazy, I got tested for HIV at 3 months post and HIV and full STD screen at 6 months, all were negative, I’m at 10 months now and the other day I got some sort of rash on my ear and around my eyes it’s kind of swelling, and a small bump behind my ear, is it possible that 10 months post encounter I could be getting HIV infection?
