Duragesic assistance program

Common Questions and Answers about Duragesic assistance program

duragesic

Avatar n tn I recently applied and was accepted in a Patient Assitantance Program for the Duragesic Patch. I see a Nurse Practioner in a county run program for the Psych medication. Tuesday I started talk therapy at a local university. It is free and the therapist is a senior in their counseling dept. who is getting her clinical time in. This is what is available to me at this time. I have been suspecting that some or a great portion of this horrid depression is in some way connected to the patch.
Avatar f tn I am in the pharmacy program that pays for my patched until i get my DSS and I cannot find the brandname anywhere due to the new DEA guidelines on sched 2 narcotics. Any ideas? none of the pharmacies in my county or surrounding counties have the name brand and I can't afford to buy my own generic right now.Does anyone know of a generic equivalent patch that the drug company will give me for free?
1312494 tn?1273749561 I also was going to suggest you contact the manufacturer of the patch that you have - I know there are a couple of different companies that make them. When I was using the patch, mine was the Duragesic brand and they offered a patient assistance program that gave me my patches for free. It's actually quite easy to apply for these programs, or at least that one was - I simply had to have my doctor fill out a form saying what my dosage was and how many boxes she prescribed at a time.
Avatar f tn Ask them about baby clothing also.
1622229 tn?1299050798 http://www.bms.com/products/Pages/programs.aspx It took about a week and they have approved me to receive the medication and are shipping it to my home. If anyone is suffering financial hardship and needs medication, I encourage you to fill out the application and get it into them. Good luck and God bless.
564735 tn?1263943526 I was just wondering if anyone has used duragesic pain patches. My oncologist is recommending I use these patches from ongoing pain from tumors. I am a little nervous about using the patches but I am also over the pain. The pain has restricted my lifestyle. Going to go the grocery store or running errands has become difficult and I am no longer able to go to the gym. Has anyone had problems with these patches? If you used the patches, how long did you use them?
Avatar f tn a) check with your local hospital to see if they have a patient assistance/charity program. If your husband requires surgery and does not have insurance, he may qualify for this. Of course, that would ONLY cover the hospital costs, and not the doctor fees, medication, etc., but it would be something b) If your husband is not able to work any longer due to his medical condition, check into applying for Social Security Disability.
764075 tn?1234495599 Yes, I agree with you on Roche. After begging/borrowing $$$ from family for the first 2 shipments of Pegasys from private pharm & insurance. I applied to Roche assistance program and in 2 weeks my first no cost shipment was on it's way. The only complaint that I have is I have to be home to sign for it.
Avatar f tn you have to be offered COBRA is you were covered while you were an employee. I would ask the HR department one last time and if the answer is still the same IMMEDIATELY contact your local MS chapter and ask for their assistance. They have specialists to help with these types of problems. There is a patient co-pay assistance program with Shared Solutions - be sure to talk to them about getting your drug covered.
Avatar f tn Because she has sleeping issue and is late alot, and because she has ibs and has had to be dosed in the car or go in after an accident, she is being kicked off the program. She is on 120mg and will be detoxed in 30 days. I am not saying that she was not in the wrong about things but this is very sudden. She has no income--I have been trying to pay her insurance and methadone fees myself as she cannot work and has exhausted short term disability benefits.
Avatar f tn Sometimes the companies DO have a program like this. ALSO, call Watson and see if THEY have a discount program. Talk to you Pharmacist TODAY and see what if ANY programs they know about as they can be a wealth of information as you well know!!! 333672 tn?1273792789 Apparently, Acorda has both a co-pay assistance program and a patient assistance program for the uninsured and underinsured. There are some details at http://brassandivory.blogspot.com/2010/02/annual-price-for-ampyra-set-at-12850.html with more info in the comments. And yes, the base price for a 30-day supply is $1,056. The way the co-pay program works is that if your co-pay is more than $40, Acorda will pay the difference so the patient's max out-of-pocket is $40.
Avatar f tn On another thread here, Mojogal has kindly posted the names of two resources that may be able to help financially with diagnosis/treatment of Lyme. Information is reposted below to highlight it. See the websites for full information. (Thanks, Mojo!
Avatar f tn I personally have no experience with suboxone, but drug manufacters all have some kind of assistance program. You have to meet certain income parameters and all that, but it IS available. Check online or ask your pharmacist if they have an 800 number for the manufacturer. It won't hurt to make a phone call and see if they have an assistance program. Good luck!
4461995 tn?1357955108 And they even have other referral programs to help with the cost if you are on government insurance that keeps you from using their regular assistance program. Make the call and keep asking to speak to someone who can help if you get negative responses from the intial calls.
Avatar f tn They sent me a form to fill out. Once they received my form I was approved for their financial assistance program, which covers all costs for 1 year. After 1 year, I believe I need to reapply. I have a friend who is also on Gilenya and the Gilenya Go Progam is providing her with the same financial assistance that I have been offered. Try contacting the Gilenea Go Program about financial assistance. The seem to be very accommodating! I hope it all works out for you.
