During the 5 days i did not apply any moisturing cream on my hands, although they desperately needed it - my hands were now sore from being so dry - but after 5 days when there were no blisters left, i started to apply hand cream again. My hands are now blister free and starting to be soft again!! So thank you! thank you! thank you! to whoever discovered this 'cure' and for posting it on the internet!
I am a 34 year old woman. I have had a red dry itchy rash under my nose for 3 months that won't go away. Occasionally, tiny whiteheads will develop. I pop them and they go away but eventually come back in the same place. I've tried putting intense lotion on which helped with the dryness but not with the redness. I've also tried putting antiseptic cream on containing phenol (1.20%), zinc oxide (6.55%), methyl salicylate (3%) and octafonium chloride (0.3%).
This time it happened much quicker, starting on the right lower eye, then moved to the left. The right under eye is very red, sore and dry. It feels so rough to touch. I have not worn make up today and have only applied vaseline and aqeous cream. I haven't changed any toileteries or make up in the last 2 months. I am not sure what it could be? I don't think it is eczema, but believe it could be an allergic reaction to something. I can't seem to work out what it could be?
Now that I am starting to get rid of the green nose the yellow nose bleed has started. My guess is it is partly dry nose from all of the medicine I have been taking and from being slightly dehydrated. I also am an instructor and wasn't able to take off work so I was straining my already sore throat all week. About 2 years ago this happened to me - the dripping bright yellow.
It forms layers of dry skin on top and I can use tweezers to pull the dead skin off. It doesn't hurt but gets sore when I mess with it. I can't stand the way it looks so that's why I have to pull the dead skin off. When I wear lipstick it looks really bad. It's like the lipstick runs. I haven't ever had anything like this. Reading all of your postings makes me realize that this may be more common than I thought. I've had this for about 6 months now.

Then I had a sore on the tip of nose, like a spot that never erupted on the outside ; but broke out into a sore just inside the nasal cavity. It has never healed. It gets better then it gets worse. Recently there is some soreness and bumpiness on the bridge.

) Staph can happen anywhere you have really dry skin or wounds... around the genital area, under the arms, in the nose or even on the face if you have a pimple. Sometimes they open up and drain, sometimes it takes forever. There are a number of things to do to get rid of staph: 1.
I feel that if it doesn't stop the 'narrow points' on either side of my nose will meet in the middle and my nose will collapse - is this possible? I've been to see an ENT specialist to said my septum wasn't perforated and that I didn't have a hole in the roof of my mouth, but I'm not convinced. He tried to reassure me and has given me a low dose of anti depressant which can be effective for facial pain, but I honestly can't understand why it's still happening now I've stopped using the coke.

I don't have any other cold/flu symptoms like running or stuffy nose, chest congestion, watery eyes, etc. except for a little dry cough. Neither do I see any white patches or rashes in my throat. I heard that viral infection will run its own course and should start to feel better after 4-5 days, but I feel like my worst right now. I tried warm salt water gagle, ibuprofen, and ice pack. The relief is temporary and after 1/2 hr the pain comes back.
Now, when I feel post nasal drip happening and sore throat I have my own remedy. I use nasonex nose spray twice a day (morning and night), take tyenol severe sinus, constantly blow my nose or hack up mucus, and am always drinking water. Also, throughout the day I gargle salt water. I have found much relief in this and usually only do it for a two or three days.
Also my nasal passages become really dry, particularly my right one, which has started to form an especially dry area that gets sore and causes me pain. In addition to this I get headaches and facial pain sometimes and i feel this pressure mounting in my left nasal cavity followed by a popping sound which I believe is my turbinate. And in the past 7 months it appears to have gotten worse for some reason.
Not breathing well through your nose can alter your heart rate and blood pressure, as well as to increasing your stress response. Your nose makes about 2 pints of mucous every day. If your nose isn't working properly and mucous isn't cleared, the stagnant mucous can lead to infections such as sinusitis or ear infections. Lastly, not breathing well through your nose can aggravate snoring or obstructive sleep apnea.
A few days ago I noticed a sore, reddish swollen lump on my left inner thigh, right along my bikini line. It has since gotten larger (about the size of a nickel, and more elongated now). It only feels sore if I press on it or rub against it. It seems like a soft lump that moves around with the skin. Last night I applied a warm washcloth to it for about 30 minutes, which made it feel better. Could this be a swollen lymph node, or maybe an ingrown hair?

neck being the worst at that time (Ears felt once again as if there was something inside scratching, and neck had sharp shots of pain upon movement that would travel behind my ears and up towards my temples. In a way, slight like pushing very hard onto a large bruise) Throat, nose/sinuses, head, shoulders and spine. my temp was 101.2, my blodd pressure 136 over 60 (i think that's what she said) I am not allergic to anything, but Acetaminophen does not sit well in stomach.

Acid reflux can cause phlegm to build up on your vocal cords. Postnasal drip is drainage from the nose and sinuses dripping down the back of the throat. There could be several reasons for this drainage. One reason is an allergy. A second reason is a non-allergic, non-infectious inflammation in the sinuses that can linger after a cold. A third reason is chronic sinusitis. Postnasal drip can cause breathing difficulty as a result of building-up on your vocal cords.

My kids also complain about tickles in their noses that it's become very uncomfortable. Most people when they get close to me either rub their nose, because it 'tickles' their noses or coughes... whatever the smell is also bothers my own nose that it's almost like i've been smelling it for too long... my nasal passages are dry and slightly bloody (i don't scratch at it... it's just bloody), and at times it sits in my throat and it feels like a small sore throat.
If it keeps up, no more than 2 more wks, then go to an ENT & have a tympanogram test. Quick, painless & don't just let doc look in ears w/ scope. They put plug things in ears & push a button to air-tight these plugs. Machine shoots out a tape & says fluid or dry by the peak pattern. Could be allergy problem or (ET) eustachian tube inflammation. These openings are in the 'back' of throat & when you swallow they tug on middle-ear compartment. You have 3.
