pores are red with dry scablike formations. Skin is not itchy, no complaints from child. Just gets attention from others, ex: "What's wrong with your skin?
Recently (the past 2 year) I periodically get this same itchyness on patches of my scalp (not dandruff). More recently (last 6 months) I get dry skin patches all over my body (leg, thigh abdoman, buttox, waist and upperarms) these are not as itchy. All of these symptoms come and go as they please, I can not make them go away and have been unable to trace down what causes the flare up, they don't always appear at the same time.
I'm just wondering if anyone else who is in early pregnancy is already getting really dry skin? It just started getting a little cool here but not enough to make my skin this dry. It's my feet and even my nose is starting to peel. Just curious...
The picture looked just like what I have going on down on my penis (excluding the dry skin I have, which may be just that...dry skin), with the red lesion-type areas on the head, and a few red dots/bumps on the shaft. What do you think doctor? I know you already gave me your opinion once, but does any of this new info help confirm your thoughts or change them or..? I'd appreciate your second opinion. Thank you.
Hi This may be a case of tinea versicolor, a form of yeast infection which may present with a lightly colored pigmentation on the skin. This however may present with a light scale and itchiness may be present. Another differential is keratosis pilaris which may present as white pigmentations on the skin especially behind the arms .They may have a sand paper feel on them when you run your hand on the affected surface. This does not sound serious. Just continue to observe this.
Hello I started out with dry skin along the cusp of my penis head which wasnt bad at first then it didnt go away then a week later i started to get bumps around the side of my penis near the head then today I found bumps on the underside of my penis head they are very small mostly skin colored kind of shiny and dry. I don't have insurance to go to a dermatologist so I wanted to know if it was an emergency.
Another possibility is Keratosis pilaris seen commonly in people with dry skin and eczema. There are small bumps that look like goose bumps on the back of the upper arms and thighs. Moisturizing lotions to soothe the skin and skin creams which contain urea, lactic acid are used in this condition. A clinical examination is must for starting treatment. Seek the opinion of a dermatologist. Best luck and regards!
Like I said the skin gets red and irritated, dry and tight. I get bumps on the head of the penis and the skin on the head and foreskin just starts peeling off. It usually goes away after a week or so.
i have red blotchy dry skin bumps on my scalp they are raised. i can feel them with my finger nails. i can pick at them if i want to. they do not hurt in any way. it actually feels good when i itch them and even afterwards its not irritated no burning feeling. i have had this problem for about 5 years. the only thing that helps is Selsun Blue medicated shampoo. it helps for the day that i use it. but after 24 hours its back. i would like to know what is the problem.
I just noticed this a few months ago. I have some "bumps" that appear like dry skin. When I scratch them, its hard to scratch them off (like the cover is "holding on tight"). I have several on my inner thighs and then one here and there other parts of arm/leg. The ones on my thighs don't itch but the other ones in more aerated areas itch sometimes but not bad. None of them are painful at all and the color is almost the same as my skin tone (caucasian). Any ideas?
Just wondering if other women are getting it to. Its like a rash on both sides of my neck, my chest, stomach and back. its dry with little hard bumps in it.
Now I have this circle bigger than what is was in the beginning and reddish pink with dry skin on the outer part of the circle I don't know what it is. And also I have almost perfectly round dry skin patches on my body. On my ribs under my arms, one is under my chin, on my breast, here and there. Maybe 15 or so... They aren't in patches, they are spread out. It does seem like on the inner most part of the circle it's fine but there is kinda blistery bumps also.
I have a dry patch of skin with little bumps that sometimes have a clear liquid in them it is only locatd on my right hand middle knuckle. It sometimes itches. When i use lotion it seems to start clearing up then comes back again.

I'm a 1a genotype, on week 8 of 72 weeks of PegIntron/Ribavirin TX. My skin is so dry. I can't seem to get it under control. I've tried oils, creams, oatmeal lotions, all applied directly after bathing and it still gets all dry. It feels like bumpy sandpaper. Does anyone have any tips?
I will get dry skin that cracks and then starts getting really bad itchy bumps then start oozing clear fluid. This will also happen if I get a small scrape o if I get burnt. It started about 3 years ago and is concentrated mostly on my hands and arms. Antibiotics and antifungal work but not very well. It will fell better if it is covered with medicine on it. Eczema medicine doesn’t work. It takes months to get rid of.
i have been having a problem with dry skin patches on my leg and shoulder which bothers me when i have clothing on it. the area on my shoulder gets irrated if my bra strap is directly on it. i also work in a retail store which is sometimes very hot and dry which between the clothing and the heat seem to make me perspire and irrate these areas. i also work with boxes in my receiving room and clothing where it is dusty and some of these boxes are from all over the world.
Blisters are most common on the hands and feet, as these extremities are susceptible while walking, running, or performing repetitive motions. Blisters form more easily on moist skin than on dry or soaked skin, and are more common in warm conditions. Sometimes, the skin can blister when it comes into contact with a cosmetic, detergent, solvent or other chemical; this is known as contact dermatitis. Blisters can also develop as a result of an allergic reaction to an insect bite or sting.
I have Red dots and dry skin on the tip of my Penis. Along with bumps on my upper inner legs and itch it feels like it is spreading under my stomace and to my butt cheeks.
