dry skin pictures

The picture looked just like what I have going on down on my penis (excluding the dry skin I have, which may be just that...dry skin), with the red lesion-type areas on the head, and a few red dots/bumps on the shaft. What do you think doctor? I know you already gave me your opinion once, but does any of this new info help confirm your thoughts or change them or..? I'd appreciate your second opinion. Thank you.

Check out "lichen schlerosos" online in a medical dictionary that shows pictures, and see if you can find some pictures on dark skin, and read the description. Maybe that's what's going on. The other thing that it might be is vitiligo, but I've never heard that it hits the pubic area more (or sooner) than other places on the body.

I have dry flaky skin on my penis head. Its similar to when you have chapped, dry lips and you could pull the skin off.. I have had this problem for more than 10 years now. I have never had sex because of this, so I know it is not an STD. I have also been to the doctors, and they pretend that it's either not there, or that I'm concentrating on that area too hard. This one lazy SOB even told me I had vitiligo and that there was nothing I could do (which I know I don't have).

In the meantime, have you tried using lotion formulated for dry skin? With the cold weather some people generally have dryer skin, but the itching and numbness I have no idea. Try to keep a log of when the numbness begins, like what you were doing and how long it lasted, etc.... Show your doctor the log and pics next time you go! That should definitely help!

m not sure what it is. I almost never apply lotion to my stomach but is this a sign of dry skin? I have some pictures, the pictures are of my right side stomach, note: I am slightly overweight as said by my doctor. I've had this dry spot on my face for many years and it seems to be getting larger. it's rougher in texture. it does not bleed and looks sorta harmless. i think i was told it was just eczema but it never goes away and is only in that one spot. i've included pictures. it's right below my eye if you can't tell. i'm 33 years old.

ve used anti fungal and eczema treatments i bought over the counter, nothing seems to be working. my skin is very dry. any ideas ??? Please help me....

Now the bump seems to have reduced in size greatly in over the past couple of days. but there is still a bump (much smaller) with dry skin. when i pull the skin tight the bump disappears... and the bump has always been subcutaneous...except for the dry skin on top...but could that be from the acne medicine that I put on to dry it out...it is a little sore and it also seems to get smaller with a warm water compress.

Hi i am a 16 year old female and for about a month and a half i been having these dry patches on both my hands and of both sides of my neck....The dry patches on my hands are located between the thumb and the index finger and it feels dry ,rough,Itchy and on some occasion it burns and then once it feels burn the area that is burning Turns red.

My friend has an Autoimmune disorder (suspected lupus but as yet unsure) it affects her skin quite badly, causing it to become dry and very painful for her.

After initially noticing it, there was a small amount of white flakes on it for a few days (very very small amount) presumably due to dry skin or something, however, 2 months have passed and I have never seen that happen again. Hello, From the symptoms it looks like dry skin and irritant contact dermatitis. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites and try to minimize contact with the irritant. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid.

Hi. I've had these spots on my foreskin for about 6 months now and they won't go away. I have tried moisture creams to see that would help and it does slightly but not enough. it could be an allergic reaction of some sort or just really dry skin. You can try a lotion that is non-comedogenic and/or hypoallergenic. That way it won't irritate your skin. And make sure you keep your skin very clean, so as to make sure there is no large amount of bacteria in that area.

And also my skin has become pretty itchy on my legs chest and arms
