Hi all. This is probably a question that I should post on the expert forum, but as always, that forum is full already today.
I know as a woman ttc, what I can and can't eat, drink, etc. . . But what about a man? I'm wondering if any meds that a man take can alter fertility, or if it can cause birth defects or anything like that. Any information would be appreciated.
I am currently taking Lisinopril, 20mg. I take Lisinopril in a.m. without other drugs, vitamins. Within 2 hours and continues throughout the day, I am having overall weakness, cough, dizziness, legs feel like they are shaking inside, although not externally visible. B/P is sometimes 170 / 90 and other times 125 / 70 and anywhere in-between. Is there some other drug to control hypertension which does not have these side effects?
Are there any drugs to help the weakness and the peripheral neuropathy? I would be very grateful to know ASAP!

I can't take or eat anything with a high amount of vitamins. I'm 10 weeks pregnant what can I do?
I am on a strict diet, but high cholesterol and triglycerides are genetic. Is it safe for me to take Centrum Cardio Vitamins (with plant phytols) to help lower my cholesterol? Also, does buffered niacin (or non-flushing niacin) work equally as well as regular niacin in helping to lower cholesterol? And is it safe to take with coumadin?
t do any good to take alot of MEGA doses of vitamins, because with many vitamins, the body just gets rid of the excess through the urine. Mega doses of any vitamin is not something that I recommend anyway.
Niki does bring up some good alternatives to make sure that you take. Some people with MS swear that those are the very vitamins that we need to take. Still it's always best to ask your doctor on this one. Just don't spend mega bucks for vitamins.
Hi guys, I understand that from this forum is that people who undergo chemo drugs or anti rejection drug or is an IV drug user or undergo PEP treatment might have delayed HIV seroconversion. So can I safely say that these 4 reasons are the ONLY reasons that might cause delayed seroconversion?No other MEDICATIONSv, VITAMINS or ILLNESSES(like medications for cough, flu(ANIT-HISTAMINS) and sore throat(ANTI INFLAMMATORY pills) would have an effect on the 3 month window period?
Do you think that's ok when you consume soft drugs like marijuana or hashish?
i'm a 19 year old girl,i have been using drugs since i was 14 almost every weekend, from exstacy to snorting narcotics and everything inbetween. At first it was just a laugh, i'm not a confident person but when i'm on drugs i'm the life and soul, my problems disappear and i'm happy. The past few months i have been worried about the damage i am doing to my body and a few weeks ago my worries came true.
Are a majority of members on this forum from the Phillipines? I'm from Southern California, USA and in reading a lot of these posts, I can tell that the English/grammar is somewhat different than I'm accustomed to. Also, a lot of the drugs suggested by members are not found in the USA. And people keep on mentioning Fibroscan, which is something I am unable to find in the US.

I plan on restricting myself to 150-200 calories everyday. Are there any vitamins I should be taking? Keeping in mind that I am only 14 and can't get a hold of all the suggestions I'll provably receive.
I have used herbs and vitamins for years now. I am very healthy. My fibrosure numbers are perfect. I don't believe this forum supports the natural way, I do until something less harsh comes along. ANA598 is worth watching if you have the time. I do and I am. No iterferon nor ribavirin is what I am looking for.
I suffered severe migraines for years and was on multiple meds for it both abortive type drugs and preventative type drugs. My dr tried me on Imitrex (triptan) and I ended up with my migraine getting worse 10x until I managed to sleep my way through it until the med wore off. it was hell. The only thing that worked for me was Topamax . My neurologist said that I got migraines and when I didn'tt have them I had tension headaches. an MRI was normal.
t seem to understand why my girlfriend is having an interaction with her medication and the natural herb Maca Root and Hot flash herbal vitamins. She is waking up and hard to breathe, her left side of her body is tight and tingling. (Not in a good way), believe me I asked! She takes Topamax for her Chiari, she takes Amitriptaline for IBS, which is also for anti depressant. I also ordered this female libido which is all natural, but contains Maca Root.

Welcome to the forum - I'm glad you found us. We have several people on Tysabri and most have very positive things to say about it. I take it that's the same for you? I am on Copaxone.
I hope you will take the time when you feel up to it and post some details about your MS and treatment with Tysabri. It could be helpful to others.
