Avatar m tn WOW 6 80s a day thats quite a habit...I dont understand if you told them at the drug rehab you shooting them up there would be no question of abuse something dosent sound right here...well there are 2 avenues to take here if you still got a bunch left you could taper off some and get down to a lower dose then jump off and hang on the withdrawals are doable but no fun....plan 2 is just to jump off C/T and bit the bullet you will be sick for a week but you will not dye from it...

Avatar f tn You have to be ready and willing to put in the work or else no rehab in the world is gonna be able to help you. Im all for it and yes they do work if your willing and ready to open your mind and heart to sobriety. You have to be ready. Are you ready?
Avatar n tn I am assuming I am going to be there for a while. Are there rehabs that you can go to if you have no insurance? Does anyone know of any really good ones? I am preferably looking to go somewhere far, like florida. I need to get away from here and get my life back. Also, does anyone know if they are going to make me stay on some sort of substance till the baby is born? Will they take her from me too? Scared and need help.... Thanks guys.
Avatar n tn Hi-- I just learned that my husband is addicted to vicodin. He is ready to get help. We live in California and don't have health insurance. We've called a few programs and are waiting to hear from them. I need advice please.
Avatar f tn Most doctors will either be in network or out-of-network with your provider. Cash only means they do not care to qualify for insurance or fill out any insurance paperwork.
789572 tn?1334424879 How do you get treated in this USofA with no insurance? I went to see my primary a couple of weeks ago to see about trying the new drugs, they can't find a GI doctor willing to take me on...
7689249 tn?1408018598 Congrats! Great news! Maybe you can call your insurance company and ask. Ive had that happen before with a surgery center and there anesthesiologist. Didn't know if my insurance would cover it and said they would know at the time. That wasn't acceptable to me so I called the insurance company and was able to take care of it myself and find out they would not cover him. Just an idea anyways. Call with the facility name and ask what they will cover while your there and how long.
Avatar m tn It would be people coming to you that have gotten in trouble with drug use and you are something like a parole officer but not with the authority, mostly gathering information and helping them out. Has anyone ever been involved in charges against them for drug use? Is this system a big farce and bad trip? Once we are clean should we just stay away from this kind of thing forever? One part of me would really like to help others out very much. And another part says stay the hell away from it.
Avatar f tn One thing your husband will hopefully realize is that no one....and I mean NO ONE.....can mentally beat up an addict or call them more names than they already call themselves. Try not to let that get to you right now....you have MUCH bigger fish to fry....and you CAN do it! The best of luck!
Avatar f tn father had a brain bleed on may 6 2009, did surgery removed bleed and right bone flap, does not open eyes on command or any other voice commands. does open eyes sometimes, for VERY short period of time, has very good movement on the right side but no movement on left side. dr. said he had seizuers, they now treat with medication. no seizures are present. will dad "wake up" more as time goes on? or will he stay like that?
Avatar f tn it takes me an hour and a half to get there, but its worth it.So why should my insurance not pay for a drug I am prescribed.I agree with you that prescription costa are out of control for no other reason then for the drug companies making money. My prescriptions were running 1500 a month. How do you pay for that if you dont have insurance.we pay a fortune to have the coverage,so why not be able to use it for a drug that helps you.
Avatar n tn Hi, I have made changes to my life insurance policy and they need to come do a physical and blood tests on me. I recentley came off of hydrocodone and am just concerned if it will be picked up on the test. How long does it take to not show up? If anyone has any insight to this its greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Avatar n tn ..tried to find an inpatient a few days ago with no luck. My last Sub dose was Saturday. I am comfortable but I'm literally soaking wet most of the time with sweat. Plus I'll have strange 'twitching' at various parts of my body.
Avatar f tn Try not to worry too much and maybe make a plan for You to be ok with all of this. If He lives with you then maybe you can have him take drug tests as a condition of remaining in your home. All you can do is hope that He wants to stay clean. I wish I had more advice. Just try and avoid fixing his problems. His consequences need to be his consequences. That is the prime motivator for staying clean for me.
Avatar m tn 5 milligrams of ativan yanked off them after completing an alcohol detox need advice no resources or insurance if i go to the hospital they will most likely not refill cant miss work however i have oldish propanal and gabapent
Avatar n tn We have no insurance but I could try and get a loan for rehab if I need to. He has been taking them for two years and takes anywhere from 2 to 10 a day. What is the next step in getting help for him. He says he can do it on his own. Does anyone have any advice.
Avatar f tn Suboxen really should be a short term solution which explains the taper program in rehab. Maybe you could go with her and hear what the Dr. has to say. Sounds like she is headed in the right direction. Hope you can get answers to keep it going. Wish I could give you a better answer. Just dig in and educate yourself on the suboxen program, it is hard to get off of as well. Best of luck and God Bless.
198154 tn?1337787265 Most doctors would probably make more money in the long-run if they could charge the insurance companies (reality is practices inflate prices to counter the cost and delay of handling paperwork and all the hassles of billing insurance). But in the case of drug rehab, the insurance companies that do bother to cover rehab have set such strict and unrealistic amounts, most doctors refuse to even work with them at all.
462570 tn?1273632977 Or, just a substance abuse rehab. Nicotine IS a drug and we DO abuse it. That would be super expensive though and using the aids on the market today are so much cheaper. If you're really scared, you might want to talk over some options with your doctor and even go so far as taking some Clonodine which is a blood pressure med to help you through the beginning. The first 3 days are really the worst, but for some people, not so bad. Maybe you would be one of those people?
7689249 tn?1408018598 Hi Kelly I just want to encourage you with your decision to go to rehab I agree with Ibkleen you will have to do a complete surrender and just go with a open mind you will not only get clean but you will learn some of the tools to stay that way I wish you good luck on your trip there it will be a great time for you and your hubby to get close to one another again...................................Gnarly..............................................
Avatar f tn I have a pretty good insurance policy. I have been through state funded rehab for meth in 2003. The place was quite slumish but I did what I had to do. Now however life is quite different. I was sober for 7 years and became addicted to painkillers 4 years ago. It started with the Lortab and now 6 months ago added Adderall into the mix. I am overwhelmed by the kids sports, mowing and weed eating 5 acres, cleaning a large home, and no help from the kids and husband.
Avatar m tn So, you’re right to look for cheap rehab centers. You don’t have to break into a bank or go broke in the name of getting off drug and alcohol addiction.
Avatar n tn The rehab facility can work to get him into a "sober house" or half way house. There are many avenues to go down and they come with restrictions, of course. He wouldn't be homeless if he took advantage of some of the programs. There's a lot out there and you could research it yourself. I would be more inclined to throw some money at a place like that instead of supporting him at home. It's much healthier for everyone.
1615215 tn?1298648648 Not sure about insurance, but most drug companies have a patient assistance program to help people with cost. They require financial information. All they can say is no. Give it a try.
