It is said that what one doesn't know, will not hurt them. There is so much truth to that. At 10:00am on 8-5-18 I found drug paphanelia in my car in my wifes makeup bag. Spoon, pill cases, baggies, a metal holliw rod. I haven't disected the bag further, as my wife was home and extremely irritated. I watched her search endlessly for this thing. She can't ask me if I found it obviously. That would usurp the denial about drug use that she is so adimate about.

Had he wanted to be drug / prison free he could have gone to rehab and gotten his life together and treated his own disease (hcv). It was not anybody elses responsiblity to do so.

I was watching a TV show about prison life and just about every felon had tattoos. I would venture to guess many of these are done while in prison with unsterile items. I wonder if anyone knew the stats of what the percentage of people in prison who have HepC is? Do they even test inmates for HepC? It's just that I don't think they know what it can can do to them. Is HepC treatment readily available to them?
Found a one quart bag of very fine green powder in my childs room. A label on the bag said "VS" and "not for human consumption". Another small one ounce bag of also a fine green powder was labeled "red VS" and "not for human consumption". It did not have much of an odor and was definitly not pot. I asked the boy what it was and he said it's not spice, but, declined to say what it was.

Can a crack addict kick his/her habit by attending outpatient rehab sessions? Do all addicts have to go to an inpatient setting in order to stop using?
I have reached a point where I must let my 29 yr old son go; I can do nothing to stop his self-destructiveness & any attempts on my part are met w/ near-violent hostility, denials, excuses, and placement of blame on everything & everyone except himself. He has been in every possible rehab program since age 14, & has spent most of his 20's in prison for drug-related crimes.
WOW 6 80s a day thats quite a habit...I dont understand if you told them at the drug rehab you shooting them up there would be no question of abuse
something dosent sound right here...well there are 2 avenues to take here if you still got a bunch left you could taper off some and get down to a lower dose then jump off and hang on
the withdrawals are doable but no fun....plan 2 is just to jump off C/T and bit the bullet

i love my girlfriend though she has been a drug addict. she is now in prison and vows to get clean.
I have always been there for her doing what nice guys do. As she was on drugs you can imagine the hell i've been through with her. She has had a couple failed relapses but to be quite honest she tells me she was never quite ready to quit but she has now seen the error of her ways now that she has mixed with drug addicts in prison.

I was on high daily doses of hydrocodone for 2 years and eventually progressed to sporadic iv use of drugs such as morphine, oxycodone and heroin.I went to rehab 2 years ago and have been on suboxone ever since.At one time I was on 4 8mg pills daily but am currently on 1 a day.Even at the highest dose, however, I still had quite strong drug cravings and still live ith them every day.I also have depression for which I have tried countless antidepressants, all without results.
I don't know how true it is how easy to get drugs behind bars or try to get a buzz off of mixing things that can be bought in commisary. Its not his first stint being locked up. I can't trust him that he won't use the money to keep in touch with his drug buddies. Would you consider putting money in commisary enabling knowing theyre an addict? I could really use advice on this. I know he can only help himself and the less enables, the better.

Less than 5 months after I got home from rehab-one, I was off to rehab-two. That time I stayed for exactly 4 months . . . June 7 to October 7 . . . and it was what I needed. It was a safe place where my mind and soul could take the time that was needed to heal.
