rehab

Avatar n tn Downtown Seattle is a hot spot for homeless and drug users, more then likely you would find her in that area, she has to eat go to the free kitchens and ask around with a picture. A month in Rehab dose not sound like enough time for her maybe a longer program then a clean house after, hopefully out of the Seattle are, that is where all her contacts are. Getting her to do this will be hard but she has been four other times so there is a chance.
Avatar f tn i agree you need to go to rehab....it wll help you in court. but, more than that you can come out of rehab clean and continue to stay that way. there is great support here but i agree na meetings are good too. good luck and keep us posted.
Avatar m tn WOW 6 80s a day thats quite a habit...I dont understand if you told them at the drug rehab you shooting them up there would be no question of abuse something dosent sound right here...well there are 2 avenues to take here if you still got a bunch left you could taper off some and get down to a lower dose then jump off and hang on the withdrawals are doable but no fun....plan 2 is just to jump off C/T and bit the bullet you will be sick for a week but you will not dye from it...
Avatar n tn Has anyone every been to rehab for drug addiction? If so...I would like to chat with you about my nephew who had to be taken to rehab after an overdose of Xanax.
Avatar f tn Thank you for your reply on rehab. I am two years out of rehab and looking for a maintenance program, as I stated. My surgeon did not have a referral for me and was not specific as to what IU could do; only what I couldn't. I'm looking for local information.
Avatar m tn He was out for 1 hour and passed his drug test.He does not like rehab and to be honest i thought he would have left by now.But he is so determind to be drug free ,im proud of him as i always thought the worst would happen to James .He finds the meetins hard and to open up but i think that will come in time.Frank says its got to come from James and will eventually come. James will be 1 week clean tomorrow. And over the worst of physical w/dsHe still feels agitated when pushed.
Avatar m tn So, you’re right to look for cheap rehab centers. You don’t have to break into a bank or go broke in the name of getting off drug and alcohol addiction.
390916 tn?1204840470 I'm going to Seattle for a wedding and we've decided to spend a week since we've never been out there. Has anyone been out there who can advise on getting around. My right leg is pretty weak and, with an AFO, I can usually walk up to one half mile. We've always been great walkers on vacations to new places and this is going to be a new experience. Any suggestions or advice?
Avatar n tn My 18 year old daughter has had debilitating daily 24/7 chronic headaches for 5 years now. We've taken her to over 50 doctors and alternative medical practices here in the Seattle area as well as the Mayo Clinic in Minn. Her pain has never changed, never moved - always across her forehead, in her temples and behind her eyes. Reading and concentrating make it worse. Sometimes it's worse from out of the blue. She awakens with a pain level of 7 and sometimes up to a 9.

Avatar m tn Where can I watch programs and testimonials of real people for drug addicts and alcoholics. I found a site: http://recoverynowtv.
Avatar f tn I am going crazy i just cant stand to be using anymore but am at a loss as to how i am ever going to do this on my own. I really think i need rehab, detox something of that sort. i live i a small town and dont think we have anything of that sort in our area.
Avatar m tn She finally admitted that she was hooked and needed help. We got her into a rehab center to hopefully get off them, so we can save our marriage. It is just as hard on me with her not being here becasue she is my best friend and we had our routine of drinking coffee and talking about anything that we want, and it was so depressing to wake up and not see my best friend laying next to me. I was wondering what it is like in rehab.
Avatar n tn I have been addicted to pain killers for 6+ years. I've decided that enough is enough & I can't continue to live like this anymore. I am 3 days clean & currently going through withdrawls. I can not afford rehab, or have anyone to care for my children if I could afford to go. I don't know if wanting to quit & change my life is enough for me to kick this. My husband knows about my addiction, I went to him for help. He doesn't understand why I can't just stop.
Avatar m tn It would be people coming to you that have gotten in trouble with drug use and you are something like a parole officer but not with the authority, mostly gathering information and helping them out. Has anyone ever been involved in charges against them for drug use? Is this system a big farce and bad trip? Once we are clean should we just stay away from this kind of thing forever? One part of me would really like to help others out very much. And another part says stay the hell away from it.
Avatar n tn My daughter, 23y.o., has a past history of drug use as a teen. She was in rehab for 19 months. She has been living independantly since she was 18 & doing fairly well, we thought. In Dec of this year.'08 she moved in with us with her 2 y.o. son. She admitted to someone else today that she has use oxycontin in the past and then used another drug (?) to get off it. Claims she has not used for I month.
Avatar f tn Does anyone know of a doctor who will prescribe me methadone in low doses for my fibromyalgia. I've tried all kinds of pain meds, including natural and methadone is the only drug that gets me out of bed.
Avatar f tn I would try to go the detox/rehab route because of the combination of the drugs and alcohol. A focused intervention with a drug counselor could be set up with a trip to detox immediately. Look in your phone book for drug/alcohol assistance. It is usually in the front pages in a special services section. She is in heavy denial and needs to be approached with a worked out strategic plan. Good Luck. Ask for lots of help.
Avatar n tn Does he think at all that he can do it without going to rehab? There are other options for it. Let us know and we will be glad to help!! Welcome to the forum!!
462570 tn?1273632977 There is a place in Seattle, look it up on the web, they have a technique, sounded weird to me but the people who posted said it worked.. Maybe he needs to be in rehab a month or two and then AA and it sure would help him to know Yes there is a GOD. He helps me everryday but doesn't take my willpower from me, thus i mess up. Hope your friend makes it.
Avatar f tn I was in a rehab facility for drug treatment...the place had a no drug policy for tx of withdrawal experienced while in rehab facility. The levels of the drug in my body as the level decreased it caused me to have insomnia for several nights and after three/four days I then had a grand mal seizure..l was finally given Tramadol for help with sleep. Per the rehab facility Tramadol is only drug prescribed as to very low addition rate. Supposed to be basically non-addictive.
Avatar n tn i voluntarily put myself into an 18 month drug rehab in 1993. i was about to lose my kids. i had to do something. they made me detox for 3 days prior in a hospital. it was a really good program. they helped anyone with drivers license problems, fines, court ****, etc. i was able to take nursing classes. they help ed me find a job, save money, and have a place to live so that i slowly re-entered the "normal" world.
