I had to haul him out of there last week to Mayo (Phoenix) ER to get cipro and an albumin IV, as well as a referral upstairs to Hepatology. He returned to rehab for his bed and three squares. Is there a more aggressive/proactive facility he should be in to monitor/tap his ascites and watch out for SBP?
WOW 6 80s a day thats quite a habit...I dont understand if you told them at the drug rehab you shooting them up there would be no question of abuse
something dosent sound right here...well there are 2 avenues to take here if you still got a bunch left you could taper off some and get down to a lower dose then jump off and hang on
the withdrawals are doable but no fun....plan 2 is just to jump off C/T and bit the bullet
you will be sick for a week but you will not dye from it...
People are spending alot of money on this drug and come to find out they cant stop taking it, the wd from this drug are the worst. thee are alot of folks who are having a bad time on this drug, most say they rather taper off of any other drug except suboxone. yes this drug works to get you off of your DOC but it is the worst drug to stop taking, the wd are horrible.
These two organizations have over a half million dollars they made from the goverment (grants) and the pharmacuetical company.
He was out for 1 hour and passed his drug test.He does not like rehab and to be honest i thought he would have left by now.But he is so determind to be drug free ,im proud of him as i always thought the worst would happen to James .He finds the meetins hard and to open up but i think that will come in time.Frank says its got to come from James and will eventually come. i got in a wreck with my 3 girls 2 and 1/2yrs ago. day after i went into rehab. came home....stayed cleaned clean for 4 months somehow i fell back into same situation. its ridiculious, how i let myself go back to that place after putting my babies in that situation. thank god we all walked away from the wreck. now i'm back on them the pain killers, y? i have no clue. i have to stop this. i'm 34...my girls are 13...9...and 9. i am so tired of it. i want my life back.

I am going crazy i just cant stand to be using anymore but am at a loss as to how i am ever going to do this on my own. I really think i need rehab,detox something of that sort. i live i a small town and dont think we have anything of that sort in our area.
t refill them thinking I was abusing them since I ran out early. Needless to say my drug test came back negative. Now to my question, I am in the process of being referred to a pain management doctor. Is they going to cause them to turn me down and not see me as a patient?
Your best bet is to just get on the phone and start calling. Look in the yellow pages, find a rehab facility, and call them. If they aren't what you're looking for, ask for a referral. These rehab facilities are kind of a "small world". They all know each other and each others expertise. Good luck and congratulations on taking such an important step.
My heart goes out to you. Unfortunately, it happens. Do not beat yourself up. What did you do to get clean before? Rehab might now be necessary considering you already did this before. Just do what you did there at home with the aid of friends or family. Spend a lot of time getting support on this site. You must know that the detox will be rough. But you will live.
I suggest you might see a doctor to assist you if you cannot affor rehab.

I have been addicted to pain killers for 6+ years. I've decided that enough is enough & I can't continue to live like this anymore. I am 3 days clean & currently going through withdrawls. I can not afford rehab, or have anyone to care for my children if I could afford to go. I don't know if wanting to quit & change my life is enough for me to kick this. My husband knows about my addiction, I went to him for help. He doesn't understand why I can't just stop.

(St. Lukes), at which time a peer to peer referral was to be implememnted..I am very scared and confused..have lost bowel and bladder control dragging right leg as I walk..Would like to transefer as soon as possible.
It would be people coming to you that have gotten in trouble with drug use and you are something like a parole officer but not with the authority, mostly gathering information and helping them out. Has anyone ever been involved in charges against them for drug use? Is this system a big farce and bad trip? Once we are clean should we just stay away from this kind of thing forever? One part of me would really like to help others out very much. And another part says stay the hell away from it.
Can my doctor two hundred miles away send a referral to a obgyn?
