I have been to court so many times with my ex when I went to rehab my ex took my kids with the agreement they would return home after ( Rehab was my choice not court order). Surpise he filed for custody. My whole xanax issue started in 2003 when I went thru a very ugly custody battle with him 40,000 later rehab ect I am fighting him again. My daughters want to come home they are 14 an 16 have a lawyer. The courts have order a drug an acohol evaluation I cant find a place to do it.....
I don't want to sound like a downer here, but TN is a permanent and often progessive illness initially with remissions that gradually can last days to years, with the remissions becoming shorter and less frequent, most causes of TN are unknown (idiopathic). Causes can be many, but for most people TN can be "set off" by some initial trigger in people where TN is "hiding".
im a vetran who is waiting tosee if they are going to put me on the new drug for hep c. i havent been treated as of yet with anything, my white cells and red are low and will be months before i can get back to the doctor due to over population i guess, i am a single dad of 3 and would like to participate in a trial use of this stuff, can you help me in any way ?

WOW 6 80s a day thats quite a habit...I dont understand if you told them at the drug rehab you shooting them up there would be no question of abuse
something dosent sound right here...well there are 2 avenues to take here if you still got a bunch left you could taper off some and get down to a lower dose then jump off and hang on
the withdrawals are doable but no fun....plan 2 is just to jump off C/T and bit the bullet
you will be sick for a week but you will not dye from it...
How many patients with TN has your doctor treated? What tests have they done? An MRI or MRA specifically for Trigeminal Neuralgia protocol? Has any medication stopped the pain or lessened the pain? If an anti-seizure drug lessened the pain but something like Motrin did not, it may be TN. If you do not have confidence in your current Doctor you have every right to seek out a second opinion. But try to find someone with lots of experience with facial pain.
I had mine done at a hospital in Jackson TN. Others had local non tr specific Ob docs do theirs. All personal choice. Just be sure to do your research on the success rates of the clinics/docs. Moving from drug to drug to find a combination that works for me. After being let down because they did not work or the side effects were too much, my ability to deal with it has gotten a lot worse. Especially lately. I do not know anyone with this condition so it is difficult to confide my true feelings with someone.

Traumatic trigeminal neuropathy is generally not associated with trigeminal neuralgia. However, both entities may be responsive to pharmacologic intervention. Seeing a neurologist or orofacial pain specialist misadvised.
He was out for 1 hour and passed his drug test.He does not like rehab and to be honest i thought he would have left by now.But he is so determind to be drug free ,im proud of him as i always thought the worst would happen to James .He finds the meetins hard and to open up but i think that will come in time.Frank says its got to come from James and will eventually come. James will be 1 week clean tomorrow.And over the worst of physical w/dsHe still feels agitated when pushed.
