im going in to rehab tomorrow...in rockford illinois. its the reformers unanimous womens home....its a christian based program. im sooo nervous but excited. has anyone ever been to rehab? any advice? i hope they take care of me when im in there. when i took my subs and stuff and just detoxed at my house, i was in control and if i didnt feel up to doing anything i could just lay in bed. i dont know maybe this will be good for me.its a 6 month program...
WOW 6 80s a day thats quite a habit...I dont understand if you told them at the drug rehab you shooting them up there would be no question of abuse
something dosent sound right here...well there are 2 avenues to take here if you still got a bunch left you could taper off some and get down to a lower dose then jump off and hang on
the withdrawals are doable but no fun....plan 2 is just to jump off C/T and bit the bullet
you will be sick for a week but you will not dye from it...
He was out for 1 hour and passed his drug test.He does not like rehab and to be honest i thought he would have left by now.But he is so determind to be drug free ,im proud of him as i always thought the worst would happen to James .He finds the meetins hard and to open up but i think that will come in time.Frank says its got to come from James and will eventually come. James will be 1 week clean tomorrow.And over the worst of physical w/dsHe still feels agitated when pushed.

CHICAGO — Illinois should not legalize cannabis, and physicians should not write recommendations for patients to use marijuana for medical purposes, because it is a dangerous, addictive drug and is not approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), a group of addiction medicine physicians said during a press conference here.

I am going crazy i just cant stand to be using anymore but am at a loss as to how i am ever going to do this on my own. I really think i need rehab,detox something of that sort. i live i a small town and dont think we have anything of that sort in our area.
i live in Ohio,work in the treatment field and there is no Ohio law that will allow one to probate another in2 alcohol/drug treatment.I doubt there is one in Illinois that permits that!Also if one goes to an inpatient program...and they leave against staff advice....the insurance company can refuse to pay for what treatment they had!I suggest u check out some Al-Anon meetings in your area ASAP!

She finally admitted that she was hooked and needed help. We got her into a rehab center to hopefully get off them, so we can save our marriage. It is just as hard on me with her not being here becasue she is my best friend and we had our routine of drinking coffee and talking about anything that we want, and it was so depressing to wake up and not see my best friend laying next to me. I was wondering what it is like in rehab.
I have been addicted to pain killers for 6+ years. I've decided that enough is enough & I can't continue to live like this anymore. I am 3 days clean & currently going through withdrawls. I can not afford rehab, or have anyone to care for my children if I could afford to go. I don't know if wanting to quit & change my life is enough for me to kick this. My husband knows about my addiction, I went to him for help. He doesn't understand why I can't just stop.
