Does anyone know a thyroid doctor in SC that is not hung up on the TSH test as the "gold standard"? If my thyroid gets any lower I think I will die. My symptoms are off the chart along with my T4.
The Accupuncturist I will be seeing comes highly recommended and actually is a rehab. doc as well. I feel really confident and hopeful, but who knows, right? I'm also hoping to see a naturopath to get my immune system up and maybe see what else I can do to treat my symptoms without going the surgical route. After all, surgery is just another treatment for symptoms that may or may not work...

something dosent sound right here...well there are 2 avenues to take here if you still got a bunch left you could taper off some and get down to a lower dose then jump off and hang on

I am going crazy i just cant stand to be using anymore but am at a loss as to how i am ever going to do this on my own. I really think i need rehab,detox something of that sort. i live i a small town and dont think we have anything of that sort in our area.

It would be people coming to you that have gotten in trouble with drug use and you are something like a parole officer but not with the authority, mostly gathering information and helping them out. Has anyone ever been involved in charges against them for drug use? Is this system a big farce and bad trip? Once we are clean should we just stay away from this kind of thing forever? One part of me would really like to help others out very much. And another part says stay the hell away from it.
