My reference manual list these herbs to avoid while taking Zoloft, but I would definitely check with my doctor before taking ANY "natural" herbal or supplement.
These herbs are:
ephedra
St. John's wort
SAM-e
corkwood
jimsonweed
hops
lavender
No mention of Grapeseed........but bear in mind that it was only recently discovered that taking Xanax and grapefruit was not recommended. Please check with your doctor or a pharmacist.
I am just wondering if there are any problems with drug interactions between Metformin and OTC meds like Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Midol, Unisom, Allergy/Sinus meds, etc... Common things that a person might take for pain, sleeplessness, allergies, colds, etc?
Is it okay to take Armour thyroid with Xanax? with Advil? with a multi vitamin? with 5 HTP? ( If not, how far apart should the meds be spaced out?)

I think the Armour has to be spaced out with the multi vitamin but Im not sure about the others...
The pill is still safe to take, but (as far as i'm aware with all contraceptive pills) your antibiotics will counteract with the pill and make it less effective so using condoms for the next few weeks is an idea. But apart from that you should be safe to mix them...tylenol is safe to take with most antibiotics as far as i'm aware and won't effect your pill either since it's just a ain reliever.

Okay, I knew I probably should not have read about it but in reading about the new drug my doctor put me on digoxin I see where it interacts negatively with xanax. I am not a regular user of xanax but have some in case I can't sleep or am nervous flying, etc... Does anyone know if this will be a problem if I take small dosages of xanax say once or twice a week? Any help would be appreciated.
My psychiatrist, who I see every 2 months, is starting me on Lithium low dose (300 MG/day) and he said it could have interactions with some of my heart meds, lasix in peticular, but didnt go into much detail and said things should be fine. I dont see my cardiologist for another 2 months, and my GP till January 4th (I see him every two weeks). I am extremely nervous about taking the lithium without knowing anything about it and how it can interact with the lasix or other meds.
The safest one to take is Maitake D-Fraction from Maitake Products Inc (maitake . com). Their product, Grifron Pro Maitake D-Fraction is in FDA Phase II clinical trials for breast and prostate cancer. That's the only supplement that can boast that claim. Further it has a longstanding safety history which allowed it to bypass the typical Phase I level and go straight to phase II. The only interaction would be if you are allergic to mushrooms.
This morning the pain is still there as is some slight nausea though I was able to eat something. Does anyone know of drug interactions between Anacin and Progesterone? Is there something else it could be?
