Avatar f tn Two years is long enough to develop a pretty serious addiction, but the amount/dose is also important. So... 5 - 10 days to get over the initial withdrawal. Then a few to several weeks of general lethergy (as in NO energy). After 2 -3 months you'll feel pretty normal but you'll most likely have ups and downs. Reading the info on Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome (PAWS) will explain what that's about. PAWS normally lasts 6 - 12 months but can last up to 2 years.
