My brother is Anastheatist and he has Fortwin drug addiction from last 4-5 yrs, we have tried psychologist but it was not helpfull as again he starts the same, as he is doctor and anesthetist it is difficult to kept this drug away from him, Can I know what we can do ? (Synthetic Heroin) as well.....yes i know that that isnt good...but due to various reasons it was very hard to completely quit.......(FYI I was on the pills alone for only about 7 months when I decided for financial reasons that I had to try to quit or a least cut back a lot)........ Now that two of my closest drug friends are gone.....

s doing there is a risk of over medicating and addiction. Do any of the doctors know about each other? Do you have your own family doctor? I would bring it up with your's because I wouldn't know how to go about dealing with this or making a judgement regarding addiction. I know this can't happen in BC because all of the doctor's activities are watched by one main system as we are all on the same health insurance. If he gets angry about it, some red flags are flying.
the worst of the physical wd should be over in about a week but then you have to deal with the mental part .
Its been pretty miserable. Its fairly easy for to me get clean. Staying clean is my problem. I have battled addiction for 20 years.I have a chronic health issue. I know one day at a time. But staying clean for the rest of my life seems impossible. I am concerned. Right now I am really craving the drug. Any suggestions on long term sobriety?
