Now, we counted from the time she got her period (the effect of the ECP to the time where she should have a regular period) and the result was she is getting delayed, she is already on her 3rd day being delayed prior to that she is experiencing nausea for the past 2 days, however she also mentioned that she was taking doxycycline for her acne and i have read that it can cause some side effects including nausea.
The bleeding is from the plan B pill. Side effects from the pill are what seem to be pregnancy signs but really are not. Just treat the bleeding g like a normal menstrual cycle. If it doesn't end in 7 days talk to your doctor. You may experience nauseous and vomiting and headaches. It ***** but you'll be fine nothing to worry about. You obviously can get pregnant at anytime even after your menstrual cycle, heck women can get pregnant while they're pregnant. Is it rare?
My question is, would the increase in acid reflux and stomach pain be a likely side effect of the doxycycline. I know doxycycline can cause acid reflux or stomach pain right after you take it, but could it cause it many hours later? What about the itchy bumps on my arm? I know doxycycline can make your skin sensitive to light, so might that be a skin reaction caused by it?
ll bet the infection was never culturd snd it may be entirely resistant to Doxycycline. Shortness of breath if NOT a side effect of Doxycycline.

I made a bonehead mistake and may have taken an extra dose of my 100mg Doxycycline treatment. To be more specific, on day 10 of the 14 days I'm scheduled to be taking the antibiotic I may have taken 3 pills instead of two. I also mistakenly missed one dose on day 5 of the treatment but was advised not to take a "make-up" dose for that by my doctor friend who proscribed the treatment (he's currently out of the country which is why I'm writing now).
I don't know if these are symptoms of a condition or side effects of some of my meds, so can someone help?
I take Norvasc, Altace, Lexapro, Crestor, AndroGel, Doxycycline Hyclate, and Advair 250/50. I have been on the first 4 for years. The last 3 have been added within the last several months. I also have Severe Sleep Apnea, but I use my APAP religiously. AHI is usually <4, but will on ocassion sneak up to 5.
All last week during my crazy symptoms, I was taking two a day 100 mg of doxycycline a day to clear up what I am sure was a form of either urinary infection of some form of chylamidia. I am well aware of what the side effects are but I dont care. Do any of you doctors out there give more than 2 a year? Doxycycline is not related to amoxicillin and sulfa drugs as it belongs to a different category of drugs(tetracyclines).Side effects of doxycycline are headache, dizziness, blurred vision, body aches, flu symptoms,skin rashes,chest tightness,respiratory difficulty,nausea,vomiting etc.
I strongly advise you to ask your daughter to stop taking doxycycline so that no life threatening anaphylaxis occurs.
re probably not pregnant and may just be having gastrointestinal issues or be suffering from side effects from the prescribed medication. So it really comes down to WHEN you think you may have conceived. Wait about 14 days from the last time you had unprotected sex to take another home pregnancy test and that should provide you with an accurate result. Brown discharge is usually old blood, it doesn't indicate pregnancy. Good luck.
