Has anyone experienced side effects from this?? I have taken it before but the next day after I took it this time.. I started to get joint pain in knee and elbows real bad with some hand pain..

Dr. Schiano, Good Morning! I'm still worried about my high liver enzymes, and doing research. It dawned on me, I was on a 10 day dosage of Bactrim back in March. Two days after finishing the Bactrim, is when I went for my 3 month blood test & those results were my first indication of high ALT 59. I then was put on Tetracycline in April, but wasn't able to finish the RX due to side effects. Could these be the possible cause of my high liver Enzymes still in 7/2012?

I don't know if these are symptoms of a condition or side effects of some of my meds, so can someone help? I take Norvasc, Altace, Lexapro, Crestor, AndroGel, Doxycycline Hyclate, and Advair 250/50. Could this be the side effects of Shingles and the medication (Which have similar side effects of Acute HIV Stage) or could this actually mean I'm going through the stage of Acute HIV infection. This has been exactly a month since the unprotected sex I had.

I happened to open my new bottle by accident and inside are bright orange pills!! The bottle says doxycycline hyclate. Does anyone know if there is a difference? I dont know why the pharmacy filled it with the orange tablets, ive only been taking the brown and white pills. I can't find too much info online about the difference. And my pharmacy is now closed until Monday and I have no doxy left that is the brown and white kind.

Recently I have been put on doxycycline hyclate for the second time for a infection in my urethra (no std, maybe ngu). My boyfriend has been taking doxycycline hyclate for about 3 months orignally for a rash he was getting on his eye lids and face. then i got sick with allergies and cold symptoms so my sister took me to carenow where i got doxycycline hyclate 100mg 2x a day for 10 days to clear up my sinus infection. right after i stopped taking the doxycycline i went to the dentist for a bad cavitity on my back tooth and got amoxicillin 500mg 3x a day for 10 days. it is possible that those meds not only cleared up what they were prescribed for but the std as well?

Those sound like normal side effects of prednisone. Nasty drug but can save a dog's life. My golden has been taking 50mg daily for 2 months and the side effects are horrible.

My boyfriend and I have simultaneously started doxycycline hyclate 100mg 2x daily for treatment of ureaplama parvum. We were three doses in to the treatment and I gave him unprocted oral sex, he did not finish in my mouth but we put on a condom and had vaginal intercourse where he did finish inside me but in the condom. We took our next scheduled dose after sex and then again this morning. My question is: Did we mess up our treatment and need to start over our 7 days of doxy?
