I have had bleeding gums and gum disease for years. Im 28yrs old now. Each time i go to the dentist they tell me about best ways to clean and floss. I try my best but still never seems to go away. I have brought a very good new oral b electric toothbrush to ensure I clean to the best of my ability. I also floss. I have tried natural mouthwashes and toothpastes containing herbs like myrrh etc which are known to help keep gums healthy.

can you please help me if any other antibiotic or combination antibiotic can help me get through this condition. I am still on doxycycline for last 6 week, right now urethritis, sometimes testicular pain, left knee pain, conjunctivitis on left side , all are there.
But the insomnia was miserable so I called my doctor to ask if there was anything I could do for the side effects, so he switched me to 3 wks of doxycycline, which I started taking immediately. Now I sleep OK but after two days the symptoms are back in full force. I'm wondering if I made a mistake in switching. Have others had similar experiences? Is doxy just slower to take effect?

I went to a urologist and they diagnosed me with prostatitis. Ive been on Doxycycline for 1 month and nothings truly got better. i have 2 more weeks on the medication. WHAT CAN I DO? also im skeptical on it being prostatitis. especially if antibiotics hasnt cleared this up. Should i try and do a semen anaylsis? and how do i go about getting my doctor to use a camera to look into my urethera. Hi . me and my boyfriend have been together for a year and went to the GUM clinic when we first got together and got checked out , where i was diagnosed with PID i was treated for this twice. i then came out in warts and am still getting treatment for them as they are been stubborn and because i am now pregnant they are more hard to get rid of .
Oh I forgot to mention that my bf was put on docy too for the chlamydia that he thought I had even tho he didnt test me for it. Sooo now after this last time that it came back I am having real bad problems with cramping and I'm frustrated that this horrible disease keeps coming back.

I have been getting burning sensations in neck, elbows, ankles and behind my knees a stiff tight feeling. The glands do not appear to be swollen. I visited GUM clinic who tested for Chlamydia and Gonnorea at week three but came back negative, doctor gave me 1gram of azithromycin which again did not take way my problems. leeturner: I think the same thing happened to me. I took doxycycline for a week for a sinus infection. Noticed my arms began to feel dry and itchy. Then plenty of little red bumps broke out on my arms. My arms itched like mad. Tried OTC Cortisone10, but it did not help. Finally I went to HMO clinic. I have gum disease. Recently got a gum access around loose tooth . The dentist gave me antibiotics and said the tooth may stabilise. I have completed the course of antibiotics but swelling is still in my gum although the tooth feels a little firmer . Would more antibiotics help? I can't see my dentist for a while. Help please?
