ve had for weeks now. I went to my dermatologist and because there were several whiteheads on my neck he didnt even take a second look and told me it was acne. I'm pretty sure its not acne though.
A couple of weeks ago I had patches of bumps on both side of my neck (left and right side only and clear in the middle) these bumps were irritating (my skin felt tight) but it was skin colored and barely noticeable so I didn't do anything about it.
Ask him to take some over the counter pain reliever and consult a doctor for examination and antibiotics prescription. If there are recurrent boils, then please get his blood sugar levels estimated. Also since he has had many courses of antibiotics, so he needs to get a culture sensitivity of the pus from the boisl done so that specific topical as well as oral antibiotics can be prescribed.

As per his prescription I also took one tablet of Diflucan 150 mg once and now I am on ten day course of Doxycycline tab and Nigazole tab (each 500 mg twice a day).
After applying the cream my itching and burning sensation is gone. I had some white tiny boils(seeds on penis) which are also gone but now i am having red spots on that place. Is it a healing indication???
There is also some pain in my right testicles. It is not continuous.

I was diagnosed with HS about two years ago. It started as a few small pimples on my thighs and then under my armpits that eventually turned into nasty, inflamed, infected boils. This went on and off for a few months. My dermatologist injected corisone directly into the boils/bumps and put me on doxycycline, then oracea for about six months total.
He told me that I had an infection of my hair follicles and prescribed Doxycycline. I took it for 10 days and all but an area behind the lower part of my right ear went away. I went back to him in December - when I couldn't take the itching any more and he perscribed Doxycycline again. And it appeared to almost go away - but the very itchy bumps are back in full force again and just in that area. It is driving me crazy.
I have been recently diagnosed with hydradenitis. I had a big outbreak of boils in my groin area. Several of them ,at first everyone thought heey were just regular boils that were very infected until the surgeon came in and said what it was. He did surgery to remove some of the sweat glands some of them healed others just got smaller. Then a month after I got one near the anus called a perirectal abcess, I had to have an incision and drainage done.
Ive been on doxycycline for 3 1/2 days, and the discharge has not gone away at all.. may have even worsened. My vagina hurts excruciatingly every time I pee. How long till the pain and discharge goes away?
The vet prescribed doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for 3 weeks. My dog seems fine without any obvious symptoms. Can we just give him the doxycycline 100mg once a day instead because the medication may cause nausea/vomiting. Also after 3 weeks medication, how do you he is treated ? Any advice !

2 nights ago I was wiping after urinating & had such severe pain I jumped & trembled. I felt the area and on the inside of the labia majora I had a bright red nodule the size of a pea. I got a mirror & looked and lightly felt it. It was solid & movable under the skin but the pain was insane. I have never had a boil on my vagina it got so hard and so big it hurt to sit walk etc. I finally went to the Dr. Keep in mind it was so big it over lapped the other lip on my vagina I've been with my husband for 16 years and cheating is not an option.
