With postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome one can have both low and high blood pressure. Mine can spike at times with standing. I do think that was remiss on the part of the cardiologist not to order the tilt table test to try to better determine what kind of autonomic dysfunction your son may have, since that is what they decided to diagnose him with. With the echocardiogram, with that kind of ejection fraction, did they see any defects in any of his valves or anything?
I've had intermittent chest pains and was recently diagnosed with lyme disease. In fact, cardiac problems such as high blood pressure, random twinges of pain around my heart, etc. were some of my more prominent symptoms, although they are rare for most people. I also just recently started on Doxy and noticed that my heart symptoms are more intense than they've been in a while.
Is it ok doxycycline for sinus infection if I take toprol for high blood pressure
old post-menopausal (5+ yrs.) woman having feelings of pressure on my bladder and the need to urinate which never goes away and becomes more acute after urinating. There is no pain or itching. This began suddenly about 10 days ago after week at beach. I was in water, sitting in wet bathing suit and in heat. Have had urinalysis, urine culture, pelvic ultrasound of ovaries and bladder - all normal. No blood, no sugar, no protein, etc.
I just had my 7th lumbar puncture - note to the doctor to take both opening and closing pressure. It is very indicative of high or low CSF pressure. I have been fortunate to have found a neurologist that did his fellowship at the Cleveland Headache clinic. In two weeks we have been able to reduce my pain, and though it may be some months ahead while the meds get adjusted, I feel we are on a good start - finally! He is located in Burbank, CA - Dr.

That and/or blood vessels rupturing because of high blood pressure during an erection. This would explain why the bleeding stops after the ejaculation: IMO, the blood in the urine is only residual blood (mixed with semen) that got pushed into the bladder during ejaculation. The erection goes down, the skin goes loose and blood pressure goes down. The cut or blood vessel sort of semi-heals itself until the next erection/ejaculation which opens the cut again.
Had ultrasound done and hernia check, NOTHING. But I have this pain everyday and this pressure and gas in my stomach. Are they related? I have no idea... help!

I have been to about 30 doctors- including ENT's allergists, neurologists, chiropracters, opthamologists. psychologists, dentists and everything else u can think of. All CT scans, MRI of brain and blood work keep coming back clean and ok. Nothing I try seems to work. There was a period of time about 3 and a half years ago that the symptoms lifted for about 4 months and then it returned full force.
ADDITIONAL MONITORING OF YOUR DOSE OR CONDITION may be needed if you are taking anticoagulants, birth control pills, corticosteroids, doxycycline, metronidazole, quinidine, valproic acid, theophylline, sumatriptan, or medicine for high blood pressure or heart conditions (beta blockers) or for mood or emotional conditions (phenothiazines). My only other symptoms have been rapid pulse (resting around 100 BPM) and slightly high blood pressure for my age (aged 22, 135/88 average). Last tests were positive for Mono (which I had when I was 17) and Lyme Disease. Started on three weeks of doxycycline. Lots of questions: Is it very likely to have so few symptoms with Lyme Disease? Are hypertension and tachycardia common symptoms of Lyme? Is it possible that I've had it since February without more symptoms and without worsening?

The TETRACYCLINES, including doxycycline and minocycline, are bacteriostatic unless given in high doses. If high blood levels are not attained, treatment failures in early and late disease are common. However, these high doses can be difficult to tolerate. For example, doxycycline can be very effective but only if adequate blood levels are achievedeither by high oral doses (300 to 600 mg daily) or by parenteral administration.
My GP checked my right ear noticing what he called a severe blood red infection put me on soframycin drops for a week, this did nothing but aggravate my ear and migraines tremendously, I relayed that info to him and he told me to continue that the meds were taking effect on the infection. I returned after a week and when he checked again was surprised the blood red ear was unchanged. Prescribed me 500mg of cephalexin for another week.

Just as I said before my worse symptoms are the joint poppoing and cracking, depersonalization, jaw pain, widespread muscle pain and stiffness, pressure in head and ears, insomnia, obsessive thoughts and worrying, and extreme fatigue. I have had many, many, many more symptoms as you can see from some of my comments on my own post above, but as I said the ones I just named are by far the worst ones. So you do think ALL of my symptoms can be caused by anxiety? If so that is such a relief to hear.
a month ago the pain worsened, ear pain fever, urinary pressure, severe headache, coughing wheezing, no energy and she was diagnosed with pneumonia. high IGG and IGM diagnosed with mycoplasm. third course of zithromax, still horrible headache, lack of energy and urinary frequency. her doctor does not feel that the headache has any thing to do with the mycoplasm. he does not feel the lower quadrant pain is also related. any thoughts?? what has helped the headache????
There is always tons of blood when this happens and obviously I end up getting horrid hemrrhoids. It usually takes a week to start to recover form this. I am also left with a horrible feeling of bruising in my lower abdoman. When it starts I get awful bloating, and pain that raidiates all over my stomach and then when it gets really bad I get pan that starts to radiate all over my low back and get extremely painful to walk.
traces of NSU) Symptoms were still there so I went to my GP who also did a urine analysis and said that there was small traces of blood and a high white blood cell count and put me on Nitrofurantoin, an antibiotic for UTIs. This made no difference what so ever and the burning sensation when urinating had now turned to an actual pain. I also noticed the pain was now also when ejaculating, and I am sure the semen was more of a yellow colour than usual.
Thus, I don't think it's really a blood sugar issue. My blood pressure at the doctor was very high (170/100). I've noticed over the years that I have very wide fluctuations - relaxing at home it can be as low as 110/60, but it tends to go pretty high when I get wound up at work or when I'm at the doctor's office. Would love some feedback, but at this point I'm coping and things seem to be slowly getting better (or I'm just learning not to panic and dealing with it a little better). Thanks!
even if i find the bug Its still hard to treat, the blood supply in the prostate urethra is very low and getting high levels of antibiotic in there is difficult. im afraid another antibiotic is just gonna make a super strain within me. there are this china guy that contacted me from an email and he says to be completely treated the devloped direct injection techiniques in china and it costs 17 thoushand dollars !!!!
Medications can have reactions in the penis head. I was taking high blood pressure med and developed red shiny spots on my penis head and the doctor said reactions end up there for some reason.. The way you have listed the last four months of your life in such detail could be associated with anxiety.
So far every woman in my family has had high blood pressure, but not me. It's also inexpensive. I don't know about the others, but maybe that will give you something to go on.
I looked up Diabetes and things seemed to match up, but my mother allowed me to use her diabetic blood testing kit, and my blood sugar was 88. I ran it a second time, and it was 86. A urine culture done by my urologist less than a week after the treatment had finished found no signs of diabetes in my urine, either. My primary care physician told me I definitely do not have it, as well as my urologist.
i took my blood pressure and it was elevated at 141/101. i never has blood pressure issues before. i went to the doc the next day and reported that my headache feels like my whole head is filled with fluid and i have shoulder and neck pain. she treated me for an atypical migraine and then gave me water pills for the blood pressure and gave me an order for an MRI which i will have tomorrow. i have a family history of aneurysms and my brother has a borderline chiari.
