I cannot comment specifically to your case since recurrent herpes simplex virus (HSV) in the eye is very complicatied as the HSV virus can just attack the surface of the cornea, get into the cornea deeper laywer in in the eye's interior. Why were you given acyclovir to take? You really haven't provided any testing details except for your blood test. Did they do a swab of your rash?

s 3 months post encounter. should you get more obvious symptoms of herpes prior to that, be seen promptly for further evaluation. Nothing else you can do at this point to know if you really have hsv2 or not.
