Ok.....Where do i start? about 2 months ago i noticed that i kept having to urinate like literally every 15 minutes. I didn't really think anything of it because i have always had to use the bathroom alot. Well, about two weeks ago i started having the classic symptoms of UTI, which i have gotten alot of in the past so i thought for sure that's what it was. I was out of town at the time visiting my mom, and i was desperate so i took some Septra that she had.

A week after doxy dosage I took a std test for gonorrhoea chlamydia and ureaplasma. All negative. I was worried about herpes all along and Borge the urologist and venrealogist said unlikely. I shave my pubic region and I got razor sores and some isolated growth on my thighs- not burning. The soreness in my penis goes away for days and then returns. Particularly bad when I consume alcohol the previous day. I am not sure in the absence of bacteria . Is this Herpes for sure?

Hi, I got my penis sucked by one of my friends and it was not very deep oral sex..but it was for a considerable period of time. Please let me know if i have to test for any STD or I need not worry about testing. If i have to take any medication before any such gestation period for any pathogen what can I take? i told them my symptoms and they examined and tested me and gave me a 7 days dose of doxycycline for having a NGU. (Non gonococcal urithiritis) After seven days of dose with doxycycline, i was feeling better with no symptoms. The vet prescribed doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for 3 weeks. My dog seems fine without any obvious symptoms. Can we just give him the doxycycline 100mg once a day instead because the medication may cause nausea/vomiting. Also after 3 weeks medication, how do you he is treated ? Any advice !

She did some test and the UTI came back inconclusive but prescribed me doxycycline in case, but suggested I also the next morning be tested for a couple of other things, Chlamydia, Ureaplasma etc. Over the next few days the pain persisted and I ended up going to the hospital in which they diagnosed me as having a UTI, gave me a dose of painkillers and a general UTI antibiotic and told me to stop taking the doxycycline. After that the symptoms seem to clear up.

I went back to the clinic and they said it should be no way I still have chlamydia but they saw that I had a massive amount of discharge in my penis(which I am assuming came about because I was off of medication) so they gave me another 1g dosage of Azithromycin and also a 4 day dosage of Azithromycin to take over the next 5 days(starting the next day since I had just taken the 1g of Azithromycin).

After a week i came back and the swab test was negative, but the doctor prescribed me doxycycline again for a week just in case. The symptoms disappeared, however after 1 or 2 weeks they started coming back and now, a month after, the discharge is white again and the urination is uncomfortable. I'm starting to feel anxious about this issue and don't know what should i do. Should i just go get some more doxycycline? Or wait for the symptoms to go away?

If your regimen of doxy (30 days seems like a long time) doesn't start to make your symptoms better, go back to the doctor. Doxy is only effective against certain bacterial infections and maybe something else is going on. Have you been tested for STDs?

i was about to be cured from Gonorrhea but i skip some dosage of cephalexin, my problem now is i need to switch to CIPROFLOXACIN but i found out that it wasn't working for me some how im one of those patient's who were resistant to it according to the UPDATES on GONORRHEA RESISTANCE... should i go back to cephalexin? my dosage before was 500mg 3x a day... Don't be surprised if the doc says no. Your doc may be following the IDSA (Infectious Disease Society of America) guidelines, which hold that a few weeks of doxycycline is all that's needed to cure Lyme, regardless of how long you have had it. Let us know what you hear back, ok?

I have diabetes but it's usually well managed. My urine test showed my glucose is 250 in the urine, but my sugar checks are usually in range 2 hours after I eat.
