910699 tn?1242769468 For the past few days I have noticed that my puppy has vomited up yellow foam. I have also noticed that she does not want to eat much. My dog has never liked to eat dog food so we have been given her eggs, chicken, and other meats that we might have at meal times. When she does eat she tends to eat fast, but lately she does not want to eat these foods. She drinks water on a regular basis and goes to the washroom regularly everything looks normal. Should I take her to the vets?
1086217 tn?1256696089 Sometimes your dog may not eat enough one night and the next morning it will throw up yellow or white foam. Then they will also puke if they eat too much, it is a delicate balance. Allergies can also be the cause. Allergies are another thing that they are sensitive towards, when my allergies act up, I take a Claritin before bed, and the dog gets half a Benadryl tablet (about 10mg). One last thing, Shih Tzu are, again, sensitive dogs. This time I am talking of their feelings.
Avatar f tn This morning she started vomiting white foam and drooling a lot. She has probably vomited now about 5 times and is acting sleepy. We did take her outside and she did play for a bit. I'm not sure if this is a vet thing or if I should watch her for a while first?
Avatar f tn My dogs have been poisoned twice (2 different dogs in 5 years). Both of the dogs vomited white foam. We ran them to the vet. Both times we thought we saved the dog. Each dog died very young of lymphoma. My vet said it is unheard of to have one healthy dog die before the age of 3 from lymphoma, now we have had 2 die young. She is convinced it was what they were poisoned with.

1283791 tn?1276818314 t getting enough food and the stomach acid chourning in an empty or unfull stomach may be causing her to throw up. the yellow foam is stomach acid. i would just suggest either leaving food out for her around the clock, or simply upping her amount of food.
Avatar n tn my dog does not want to move nor eat and he is puking yellow foam ...i just want to know whats going on with him... and if there is something that can help him please let me know ???
Avatar m tn My 3 yr. old Shih Tzu has been vomiting yellow, slimy liquid yesterday and twice in the middle of the night. What is wrong?
Avatar f tn She could have something called bilious vomiting syndrome. Even though it's called bilious vomiting syndrome, it's not an actual vomiting that brings up the foam, it's a gagging cough. This happens in some dogs when they first wake up, the stomach is empty from not eating all night and there is a buildup of acid. You can try an experiment to see if this is what it is - try feeding your dog a small snack late at night or, if you wake up during the night, give her a cookie or two.
Avatar n tn I don't want to panic, but my dog vomited a very large pile of bile (white). Before I rush him (30 lb Boston Terrier, 8 yrs old) to the doctor, I would like to know what to watch for and what some common causes might be. He is a very sensitive dog and gets upset easily. We are NEVER out late, but came home a couple hours later than usual last night and this morning he vomited. With his sensitve personality, I was curious if it could be related.

Avatar f tn By the 3rd time of him throwing up is was a red liquid with white foam. After this he started pooping on the floor, I then let him outside where he continues to poop and now it is straight diarrhea. I have him in my bathroom now, I have tried to get him to drink some water and he wont. My question is what is causing this, and What can I do to make him better?
2154088 tn?1336592380 My dog has been having the symptoms of hypoglycemia for most of his life, which have started becoming severe lately. He has a serious food aversion from an illness he had as a puppy, so he tends to miss meals and be an extremely picky eater (an issue we are constantly working on). There are times he may go without eating much for nearly 24 hours and when this happens I give when Nutri-Cal or a product called Stat.
Avatar m tn I have a 2 year old yellow lab. He has a very sensitive stomach. Only food he loves is Blue Chicken and Brown Rice. Friday and this morning when I give him just the dry nuggets, immediately after he eats them- he vomits. He doesn't seem to be sick. He is his normal, playful, self. No diaherra. I gave him plain white rice and boiled chicken and he was absoutely fine - no vomitting. Could the nuggets have gone bad? Stomach bug in my dog?

Avatar m tn My dog has been vomiting yellow bile and sometimes with food.. he has very little appetite. Vet visit last wed showed nothing unusual on blood work and exam. said to treat as acid reflux. Meds haven't stopped it and appetite is actually worse.. he is 10+ husky/shep mix.
Avatar n tn Is the vomit just liquid/foam, no solid matter? What do you feed your dog, how long after its last meal did the problem appear.. just more that comes to mind, and the vet may ask the same questions, good to have accurate answers to help diagnose.
Avatar m tn Hello everyone. I'm 8 weeks so far and I've been feeling nausea for almost three weeks and yesterday was my first time to throw up. First it was white foam and after that it's yellow bile. And today I've been throwing up even more. I drink a lot of water but couldn't eat at all. is that normal for first trimester? Or Should I see doctor?
Avatar f tn Missy dog vomits when she eats or drinks. She can only keep down white rice and small amounts of water at a time. Her stool is normal and stomach isn't hard. I am concerned at she can't continue to just eat rice. I tried boiling hamburer and putting a little in the rice but she vomited that too.
Avatar n tn My dog has been vomiting in the morning about once or twice a week intermittently for a few weeks. She is 5, a mutt (my best guess is border collie and husky mix?) and otherwise seems fine. Before and after she vomits she doesn't seem to be bothered at all and is active and playful. I haven't brought her into the vet yet since it doesn't seem to be effecting her very much, but since it is happening on and off for a while now I'm starting to get concerned.
