My dogs have been poisoned twice (2 different dogs in 5 years). Both of the dogs vomited white foam. We ran them to the vet. Both times we thought we saved the dog. Each dog died very young of lymphoma. My vet said it is unheard of to have one healthy dog die before the age of 3 from lymphoma, now we have had 2 die young. She is convinced it was what they were poisoned with.
She could have something called bilious vomiting syndrome. Even though it's called bilious vomiting syndrome, it's not an actual vomiting that brings up the foam, it's a gagging cough. This happens in some dogs when they first wake up, the stomach is empty from not eating all night and there is a buildup of acid. You can try an experiment to see if this is what it is - try feeding your dog a small snack late at night or, if you wake up during the night, give her a cookie or two.
I definitely think you should take him to the vet. Vomiting whte foam CAN be a symptom of bloat (which is a serious medical emergency) -since he has had this for 3 days, it doesn't quite sound like bloat, as bloat comes on very suddenly and can literally kill within the hour!
But it's probably more likely he has a bad tummy upset. Drinking a lot and peeing a lot could also be a symptom of a few problems, from kidney troubles to diabetes, and a number of other things.
I had a dog in Canada that got into some rat poison and was convulsing in second and foam at the mouth and vommiting we had rushed our dog in Canada to the vet where the vet administered Vitamin K and my dog lived. I just dont see where the dog here in Thailand could get into such a thing as I have another female dog that is still alive and she eats sleeps drinks and always played with my other dog who is now dead.
Parvo doesn't usually kill within 24 hours. The puppies or dogs present with vomiting and diarrhea (usually bloody) that has a gawdawful odor to it, and until it gets to this point there is usually at least a few days of not eating and general lethargy. What breed of dog was this? How old?
The fact that she stopped eating for a day and was dead later that night makes me suspect bloat, or gastric dilatation/volvulus.

My dog got 9nto compost pike and ate the rotten patatoes and has been vomiting sticky flem. All evening. I picked up water, to see if vomiting will stop, for a couple of hours. Her abdominal area is very tight. She lwajed some urine that had a pink tinge to it. I dont have the funds to take her to night vet. Any suggestions?
By the 3rd time of him throwing up is was a red liquid with white foam. After this he started pooping on the floor, I then let him outside where he continues to poop and now it is straight diarrhea. I have him in my bathroom now, I have tried to get him to drink some water and he wont. My question is what is causing this, and What can I do to make him better?
s almost entirely water that she is throwing up the rest is mucus/foam. She is still energetic and keeps trying to play with her toys. Anyone have any suggestions?

The cat food may have upset his stomach. I would not worry about him not eating for a day but he does need fluids.
It is not unusual for dogs to vomit on occasion, however, it is not something to be ignored.
Has he been eating grass or plants? Some plants are poisonous.
Any chance he could have ingested anti-freeze? These scenarios would be considered a medical emergency and should warrant a trip to the Vet immediately.
t much to be done for pancreatitis (particularly the chronic variety your dog appears to have) other than treat the systems and starve the dog until the flare is over. Your vet was absolutely right to put your dog in the hospital, withhold food, and provide supportive care with IV fluids. Sometimes dogs have to have nutrition support provided via IV as well for stubborn long-lasting cases.
You will have to watch diet very closely. Keep fats to an absolute minimum.

My 12 yr old boston terrier started having diarrhea and some vomiting about 6 months ago, I would take him to our regular vet he prescribed anti diarrhea meds, sometimes nausea, he tested him for parasite and was negative, de wormed him anyway.
