Dog throwing up green foam

Common Questions and Answers about Dog throwing up green foam

throwing-up

For the past two days she has been throwing up this green looking stuff. It almost looks like foam or bubbles. This morning she did something I have never seen her do. She got up and started making this sound like crying and she started to drag her bottom across the floor but her bottom was not all the way on the floor. She was acting like something was after or on her. Then thats when she stopped and started throwing up but this time it was more watery and clear but had the blood in with it.
) We managed to rest a short while, then she started throwing up horrible yellow and green fluids. Dry heaves that was nearly killing her. WHAT CAN I DO FOR HER, IT IS SO LONG UNTIL 11:00 AND HER SUFFERING ENDS. I am holding her as she is dry heaving, she has a seizure, (first one-lasted only seconds) Her tongue is turning black. SO LONG UNTIL 11:00, I KNOW I WILL CALL MY VET TO COME EARLY MORING!!!! I promised her no more fluids, she would not accept any water or pedialyte now. 2:00 a.
She first starts letting out little whimpers and then it escalates into painful yelps. My other dog even runs to her aid. When I try to move her she freezes up. Shortly after she is fine and alert and will run and play like nothing was wrong so she doesn't seem to be in pain. I am going to try and video record her next time this happens so that I can show it to my vet. It doesn't sound like it is common so it's difficult to explain to people who haven't seen it before. She isn't dreaming..
Last weekend my dog's muzzle, forehead, and ears were swollen and she wouldn't stop throwing up yellow foam. She would hardly eat and it had to be soft food if she did. We took her to the vet and they thought it was a sting of some sort and gave her benedryl and something to soothe her stomach. Today I noticed that her breath smelled horrible and I saw a tooth in the very back that is black and green. The swelling from last weekend seemed to begin in the area the tooth is located.
She has lost her weight drastically and not even eating properly. Also she is throwing foam like stuff. I will be taking her to my vet tomorrow. My vet says it’s surprising to see such a young dog having chronic kidney failure. It's been tough going for both Amber and my family members. I am not sure if this disease is curable or she can even recover. Trust me we all love her like mad and even all the kids in my society were crying after watching the condition of Amber.
Studies have linked low levels of this vitamin to high levels of depression. By loading up on the green stuff, you aid your brain in the production of serotonin, a neurotransmitter responsible for regulating your moods and behaviors. Soy Again, not a first choice pick-me-up food, but soy is loaded with high levels of tryptophan, an amino acid that aids in the brain in the production of serotonin and melatonin, which are responsible for regulating your moods.
She also threw up when she woke up that morning. When I say she's throwing up I'm not just talking about a small amount like spit up she is throwing up a lot. Well after she threw up that first time monday morning she was fine again all day and just as happy as could be. Again on monday night and Tuesday morning she threw up again. I have been nursing my daughter every since she was born and I'm wondering if there is any way possible that somehow my milk is making her sick.
For the past few weeks I have been throwing around ideas as to the best way to respond to this matter. You see a recent article ( Feb.3 , 2009 NY times) titled "Best treatment for TMJ May be Nothing" nearly made me clench my jaw to pieces. While well written, I found that the author, Ms. Brody, relied heavily on out dated and narrow perspective supplied to her by a small group of dentists.
When I moved from my apartment of 8 years, where they had both lived since kittens, into a house in the country, Mittens began licking her front legs and throwing up hairballs and then would throw up white foam and couldn't stop throwing up this white foam. I had made many trips to the vet, many tests (xrays, blood work, etc.) and nothing wrong with her. She would have to get Reglin shots (pharmaceutical that blocks something in the brain that tells them they really don't have to get sick).
Keith, day 1 to me is the withdraw part when your body is screaming and you are cramping and sweating and throwing up on both ends This is day 1. The hard part of this battle in the beginning is you always say if I can just get through the way my body is trembling. well that passes and it does But then The mental part starts and for me Thats when the real works begins.
I've often wondered why it is so hard for some to stay away from alchoholic beverages when pregnant. I've seen this argument soooo many times. What is safe and what isn't...the discussion goes on. Is alcohol so important that you can't abstain for 9 months? To me, that seems to be a problem. Your baby is probably fine but just think about your actions in the future.
December 2008 I saw an allergist and was tested for sesonal stuff, dust and cat dog stuff- all the usual. None come up - none. The allergist confirmed that I am not allergic. I was given eye drops to relieve itchy red eyes and was advised by the allergist to avoid using Alrex, which allergist suggested is not a cure for the problem.
my eye doctor told me it was due to mild allergies and prescribed eye drops which didnt help in the least so i turned to over the counter allergy medicine which hasn't helped either (so i dont think it's allergies) and in the last 3 weeks not only are my eyelids itchy but when i wake up in the morning my upper eye lids are bright red and swelled up so bad that its embarassing!!!!
The first time was understandable because I had consumed quite a bit the night before, the next weekend I vomited violently after consuming only a 6pack, and then yesterday I was throwing up again after a night out of drinking beer. It cant be an allergy to yeast or glutan because I eat alot of bread and pasta without any problems. I dont know what it is, if anyone has any other ideas, help me out. I love beer and would prefer not to give it up.
I don't have a lot of faith in MD's right now. Anyone out there have any input? Can the liver be screwed up for this long and still avoid being detected? Can inflamation be detected by ultrasound? It feels like it's burning, not like heartburn, but a firey sensation...hard to describe. Someone, please help me settle my fly away brain...thanks.
I have had a total hysterectomy, so that is NOT an issue... About once a year, I end up in the hospital, very sick - throwing up uncontrollably. Was just in the hospital in July for a week... And they can never figure out what is going on..?! This is driving me nuts. Some of the MDs have suggested that I am just depressed - which is somewhat true -- as time goes by without a diagnosis - I do get discouraged... Any suggestions?????
My doctor is also clueless and could only come up with possible deep vein thrombosis but the physical exam didn't sync up. Read up on magnesium and calcium deficiencies - it all made perfect sense when I read about it because magnesium is vital for muscular health and can't be absorbed without calcium so they're both linked. If nothing else give it a try and see if it works for you all as it did for me. Good luck!
I dont seem to be able to get more than 4 hours of sleep before the itching sets in and wakes me up. Ive been up since 4 with only 4 hours of sleep and an exam at 9. ARGG.. Anyway, I also read something about the raw food diet helping people with eczema. I know eczema is different than what most of us have but it does have to do with the skin so it may help with what we got too. I dunno though, anyone know anything about that?
In the past, I talked with another moderator, Emily. She told me that discussing alternatives to interferon therapy is perfectly fine. This includes Lloyd Wright, colloidal silver, ozone, Chinese medicine, herbs, and supplements. If Dr Berkson is a quack-prove it in open discussion. Bring valid arguments. So far, in this discussion, the only response to people who are interested in Dr Berkson's approach was calling him Jerkson. Does this prove that his treatment is not working?
Cancer, MS, Liver has enlarged to reach into my left ribcage and is pressing up against my stomach. So I have liver issues. Have had for many years. Now I have a Friend whos Mother is in final stage liver failure. This is a recently reunited bio-adoptive family with only 18 months with their Mother before her kidneys then liver failed on the 13th of this month. She was sent home to Hospice Care the 16th. She is a diabetic added to list.
midway between shoulder and elbow. First noticed it when it woke me up the first night, and each night there after. It has since progressed to where I can feel it all day... but night is the worst. Not as bad as yours, but enough to affect my sleep - and is now having a definite affect on the strength in my left arm. And no, it is not the "shooting pain" associated with a heart attach... nor does it start in the shoulder as in the case of bursitis mentioned above.
Someone also cured their fecal body odor after taking catechin, which is in green tea. Look up what is good about green tea extract, catechin, polyphenol, that has to do with killing bacteria. I just bought and started on mastic gum today.
I have had these symptoms for just over 4 years. We recently moved to the area and lived in our home for about a year and a half. They randomly appear and I honestly have no idea what triggers them. I have seen multiple dermatologist, who have run a plethora of blood test - all inconclusive. I have tried many creams, nothing that really helps. I have seen an allergist and even subjected myself to the food and pollen allergy panel of tests.
I think everything is over and I clean up. I walk out of the toilet and in about 2 minutes time the stomach cramp and the fainting sensation comes back (I've fainted only once to date from this and was out for about 15-20 minutes). 6. When I get back to the toilet I have a really violent Diarrhoea episode in pure liquid state.
( I have been up many nights over 10 years reading blogs like this, see that thousands of people suffer with it, men and women of all ages, living in all parts of the world...I have not been able to distinguish a common thread for the cause besides the symptoms and the temporary relief from ice. I hope there is a doctor out there, or a team of doctors, that is aware of this and will take the time to find the cause and cure of brachioradial pruritus.
My itching and irritation coincided with a very heavy period (changing tampons every 2 hours, which is unusual for me) and a 30 minute sex romp in a hottub/spa with my husband. I chalked it up to irritation but weeks later it's unbearable. I've come up clean for STDs, yeast, trichomoniasis and anything bacterial. WHAT HAS HELPED: *Every morning before my shower I fill the tub with about 6" of warm (not hot) water. Add 1/4 cup of white vinegar and 1/4 cup of salt.
Please feel free to be wound up... Ive been wound up over this for a few years. Yes, this doctor turned out to be about the slimiest person I have ever dealt with. (You know the old saying, someone had to graduate at the bottom of their medical school) I fell for his sales pitch in him telling me everything I wanted to hear.
