does nuvaring need to be refrigerated

t want to get into a big discussion on whether or not it is available. I just want to know if it NEEDS to be refrigerated. Does it? What if you don't keep it cool? I don't want to get into taking a med that needs this kind of special treatment because it opens the door for lessened potency, of course. Could someone get to the bottom of this refrigerate or not Thyrolar issue?

s a multi dose vial it does need to be refrigerated after opening. Sooo, which is it?? The vial contains 4 weeks worth of medication for me.

I always get my period within 3 days of taking the ring out and my period is completely normal ( I don't need anything more than a regular sized tampon to keep me covered).

I just started on Nuvaring & my doctor had instructed me to put it in on the first & take it out on the 26th of each month. While this makes it easier to remeber when to take in or out, will it change the effectiveness of the medicine? Has anyone ever heard of this method? Is anyone currently practicing this same method? If you've been having unprotected sex, then yes, you could be pregnant (you weren't ever covered by the birth control pills). It might be too early for it to show on a pregnancy test if you are pregnant. Talk to an ob/gyn or teen clinic about what to do and when you should get tested. You should also look into the patch or the nuvaring for birth control if it turns out you aren't pregnant, as you don't have to remember these as often.

ve used ovidrel and novarel over the past two months, and ovidrel was the only one that needed to be refrigerated, because it was pre-mixed. Novarel just needed to be kept at room temperature. My gyn said that if we test positive for brca that I need to immediately get a specialists opinion on what to do with the nuvaring. If I test positive for brca, I will get my ovaries out.
