Hormonal changes do play a role in OCD as does elevated stress levels. What you have to realize is that OCD doesn't go away. In fact, as more stress is put upon you, which usually happens the older you get, the worse it can be. So to be honest with you, the best thing for you to do right now is to see a psychologist and learn CBT. That way, you can help yourself when the OCD kicks in. I have bad acne as well.. I tried many things.. but nothing works everything I use made it worse... now I have a lot of acne scares and stuff.. nothings will work because of the hormones.. my doctor told me to just use something mild to wash my face.. so now I use clean and clear daily wash... I still have the acne scars.. I hate seem them and my self esteem is really low... I don't go out.. If I do I put on a lot of makeup...
I wash my face and put acne medicine on it almost every night, and no matter what I do, it will not go away! I feel like I am going to lose it with this thing, its right on the tip of my nose and is completely noticeable to anyone who looks at me, and I can tell they are staring at it and trying to figure out what the hell is on my nose. Please help!
Hey current and future mommies!!! So I have never really had acne before (just a couple pimples here and there) but as soon as I got pregnant, it's as if my body decided to become a teenage boy! I'm full of acne on my face, down my neck and even on my back! I feel horrible and disgusting! It's like my face chemistry has changed it feels tougher, oily and out of no where my pores are huge!!! Help! I'm 8 weeks pregnant, does this ever go away and when?!?
