Common Questions and Answers about Does cialis lower blood pressure

cialis

Avatar_m_tn ) Almost immediately Viagra and now daily Cialis have only had marginal effects. Since I am taking medication to lower blood pressure and medication to increase blood flow to the penis are they not fighting against each other?, or am I totally mistaken?. My 47 y-o girlfriend and I still have a lot of satisfying fun in the bedroom but we both wish we could have actual intercourse. My physician seems to think quitting smoking will be a miracle cure for this, is he correct?.
Avatar_n_tn I have high blood pressure and have tried various drugs to lower it. I am told that they will not operate if my BP is high. The complication is that all the BP tablets that I have tried cause erectile dysfunction. The question is - how am I going to ejaculate the bloody mess in my prostate if I can't get an erection? Does it matter if I am unable to discharge this material? What happens if I don't?
Avatar_n_tn Can this fact influence the test? How long does it take for Cialis to be completely eliminated by the body?Does the intake of Cialis influence the doppler test any any way?I told the doctor about this but he completely ignored this fact and did not postpone the test.I also had been taking somewhat large doses of anti-oxidants alpha lipoic acid, evening primrose oil, vitamin e and i told the doctor about this but he considered those not relevant to the test.
Avatar_n_tn Viagra dilates vessels to increase the blood flow to the penis, while the blood pressure medications dilate certain vessels to lower the blood pressure. Thus, the question arises as to whether it is safe to combine these two different medications. Since they both independently dilate the blood vessels, it is conceivable that together they could lower the blood pressure too much. So Viagra is usually not recommended for men with high blood pressure.
Avatar_m_tn blood pressure highly affects blood flow to your penis, and that's what creates an erection. So if there's any medical condition that inhibits blood flow, this will affect your erection. However, you also may be sabotaging your pleasure due to worry and anxiety about this. Our society does a terrible disservice to men by raising them to think that their penis has to be 10 inches long, hard as a rock and last all night. It’s no wonder that many men feel insecure about their sexuality.

Avatar_m_tn ) increase the amount of sodium and water excreted into the urine by the kidneys. It is thought that they lower blood pressure mainly by reducing the volume of fluid in the blood vessels.
Avatar_m_tn Difficulty urinating and lower back pain. I definitely need to make an appointment somewhere. Does cialis treat ED or is just a band-aid? I want to find a permanent solution. I have been trying the herb Maca. It is supposed to help hormonal imbalance. I figured something must be messed up after two years of antibiotics. I have been sleeping better since I have been taking it. My heart goes out to anyone that has to go through this.
Avatar_m_tn Boston Medical I assume did tests to determine if you have any underlying problems (diabetes, high blood pressure, low testosterone) ? You're in good shape, exercise (cardio) daily or several times a week ? What did Boston Medical conclude? I think an important test is to see if you can get aroused by watching your *ideal* XXX fantasy - finding that on YouPorn or a number of other free sites is pretty easy.
Avatar_m_tn • Diabetes • Vascular anomaly • Low blood pressure • Heart issues • Medications • Psychological or emotional issues (stress, conflicts, etc.) • Temporary condition that your body got used to and now it’s become a pattern or expectation You might wish to explore these with a physician or a therapist. There are urologists who specialize in sexual concerns, and I'd suggest you consult with one. But I have a question for you. Why are you so worried about morning erections?
Avatar_f_tn They only thing I was told is that I have tachycardia and benign palpitations. I've had normal echos, EKGs, good blood pressure, etc etc, had a stress test several years ago and passed it. I'm 33. I have some belly fat but trying to lose it. The doctors don't seem to think anything is wrong but why am I having these skipped beats more often now than when I was younger? And I'm not sleeping well either.
Avatar_m_tn There does not seem to be many side effects to most herbs, I did get some high blood pressure from Viagra but now since being on mostly herbs I feel and get some real good hardons, and the morning woods are good, I even get woken in the night with some real boners and never had that before.
2009630_tn?1327944555 Part of it is physical on his part (high blood pressure and medication - along with depression I am sure), part mental (his self confidence and self image is low, he acts very arrogant and cocky and from the outside you would think he is getting it all the time. Our sex life has waxed and waned alot in our 20 years together, sometimes very hot and would blow the minds of our friends if they new what we would be willing to try or do, but when it is off, its dead.
Avatar_n_tn Either way, most of the physicians with whom I had met explained they don't think that's the reason. My blood pressure is that of an athlete's (110/60) and everything else seems to be A-ok with me. My question is this, among my symptoms include getting either no erection at all or as very flaccid (about 40-50%) erection when I wake up.
Avatar_m_tn I don't really fit the bill for low testosterone. I'm in great shape, have low blood pressure, good athletic stamina, and am generally healthy otherwise. At the same time, I notice I have other symptoms of low testosterone (such as poor concentration and memory, and fatigue). I am depressed as well but I think it's as a result of my condition. Has anyone experienced similar problems as me? Did testosterone therapy solve it? I'm also concerned about my ability to have kids.
Avatar_n_tn Hello, Name: Ali Age: 29 Weight: 165lb/74KG Height: 6 foot Blood Pressure: Stays on top end of normal range, sometimes a couple points hi Temperature/C: Stays between 36 and 37, normally on lower end (36.2-36.4) I have been facing primarly lack of libido and ED and in addition to that general weakness, fatigue, anxiety, lack of energy, no strength, weak muscle, need to sleep more, feel a bit cold, stomach issues like gas, smelly stool (sometimes too large and several times a day) etc.
Avatar_m_tn Yes, if I understand what your saying, if a blocked vessel is opened there will be less gradient pressure and blood flow will again flow through the previous, now opened blocked vessel and less blood through the collaterals. That may be a good reason not to open an occluded vessel that has good collateral blood flow. Blood will flow through the least resistant channels and that would be the wider diameter of the opened vessel. Collaterals usually have a smaller diameter and more resistance.
Avatar_n_tn i am taking tribenzor for high blood pressure and sometimes when i take viagra before having sex i find it not to work is there any link to blood pressure medication and viagra not working before i started taking the blood pressure medication it always seamed to work fine
Avatar_f_tn [23] Other side effects can include nausea, diarrhea, headaches, epistaxis,[24] high blood pressure, low blood pressure, and mastalgia.[25] Ginseng may also lead to induction of mania in depressed patients who mix it with antidepressants.[26] If he has hormonal problems most probably suplements won't work. Something that I 've heard rave reviews about is yohimbine made from yohimbe tree which is an FDA-approved supplement. However, you need to have a script to buy that.
Avatar_m_tn Every single day since I have been home I have had bouts of severe abdominal and back (in the kidney area) pain. The surgeon does not know what is causing this pain. I went to my family doctor and he tested for pancreatitis and it was negative. He did other tests as well and all was negative. He has prescribed percocet for the pain, which helps somewhat but is not getting rid of the problem. Any suggestions out there?
Avatar_n_tn Symptoms are worst after ejaculation, when there is a natural explusion of blood from the area and retraction of the penis. The blood flow problem explains why L-arginine is beneficial for reducing symptoms. The extra NO produced from the arginine relaxes the blood vessels in the region and allows more blood to get to the penis while both flaccid and erect. L-arginine has helped me a little, but it obviously won't fix any structural problems.
Avatar_n_tn It's as if that sensation/natural ability of the penis to hold blood inside is completely gone/deteriorated. I don't understand. I work out daily (twice per day three times per week) have a very healthy diet, I quit smoking cigarettes and marijuana about 2 months ago, and am still having this issue. I've accepted I'm doomed forever to suffer from ED but wanted to know if anyone knows what the issue is.
3788967_tn?1348232303 Pinching pain in the left testicle and sometimes left groin area, sometimes when I cough or run I can feel the pain on lower left abdomen area. 1st doctor prescribed with pain killer which does not work, the pain does not go away after 1 week so I see another doctor. 2nd doctor sent me for a ultrasound scan on my testicles. They found a cyst in the left epididymal head. No evidence of cariocele or hydrocele detected.
Avatar_m_tn Most of my penile sensation has been at the base of the penis, or lower third. It caused problems when I was single because I could never ejaculate through intercourse - not enough feeling. I could sometimes ejaculate during oral sex, but only if the woman went down my shaft all the way, or stimulated my base with her hand. I always thought this was normal. Then about seven years ago, I met my wife - a doctor (radiologist) who is also a chiropractor.
Avatar_m_tn This could mean that E either messed up my serotonin levels, or messed up my circulation somehow. Heat does help 'soften' up my flaccid penis somewhat as others have mentioned. Also there is a possbility that I, as well as many of you, have some form of prostatitis. We need to go get that checked out. If that is the case than the good news is that it is treatable.
Avatar_n_tn When i was 15, i was wrestling around with some friends , and felt an odd pop in my lower abdoment along with a very weird sensation in my groin. Went to the bathroom, and noticed my penis and almost fully retracted into my abdomen and was stiff , even though it was in its "flaccid" state. I went to the doctor a few months later , (being a young teen i was embarrased) and he said he didnt know, but its probably nothing to worry about and it would probably resolve itself.

Avatar_n_tn I had a full blood work-up and also went to get an xray of lower spine. I don't have any results back yet, however my blood pressure was normal, and the entire physical was normal. My doctor thinks it is somehow related to my spine. I definitely have noticed that it has almost gone away (again like you say, maybe I am not so worried about it, so I don't think about it, therefore it is less of a nuisance.
Avatar_m_tn A little bit shouldn't be a problem but keep an eye on it incase you start to experience contractions and blood as I found out the hard way this is symptomatic of blood clots and an irritated bladder. Which will require a visit and some saline flushes of the catheters.
92903_tn?1309908311 It will give you your average blood sugar over the past 90 days which is a more significant assessment than poking and metereing yourself. This is where I get lost a little bit. HCV does affect blood sugar, but I don't know if the effect is from the virus or the damage done to the liver. If the former, your probably looking at diet modifications (sugar, carbs out, proteins veggies in) and smaller more frequent meals.
