for the past few months Ive been spotting 3-6 days before my period...Like a brown, orange, and light pink discharge...It will be on and off for those days some days ill spot in my underwear and some days I wont...but If i take a q-tip and place it in my vaginal area it will always have discharge I guess up there...What does that mean...It has never active when it happened and Im not that active when it comes to sex....can someone help!!!
As I draw nearer to my period date, the discharge seem to get heaver color-wise. It would be light brown discharge one day, then red-ish the next, then back to brown and so on, sometimes red. I'm due in about a day or 2 and just today it started to look more like period blood when I use the bathroom. I thought I would start today, but after a few times on and off through the day, it seem to disappear and has resume back to light brown discharge.

I have had mirena fitted since oct 2010 and have been regular as clockwork until june 2011 when I completed missed and had nothing until 20/9 which was only light brown discharge for 4 days when wiping. From 27/9 I have felt tired throughout the day, dizzy, frequent headaches and nauseous. I have vomitted on 29/9 and 12/10 but only bile stuff. I am 21, NOT sexually active - in fact, I've never had sex. I took pills awhile back to control my acne breakout but stopped after 3-4 months of use.(I became really moody) The last time i took them was about less than 2 years ago. Then around November last year, I noticed brown discharge before my period and it has continued ever since. There's no odor.
The stomache aches were most likely cramps before a period. The brown discharge was also related to the upcoming period. The period just came early thjis month, that's all. This also means she is probably not pregnant, since this is two periods now, so I wouldn't be too concerned about that. Unless your fiance is very concerned that something is wrong, I wouldn't worry about this. For now, I would relax and see what happens next month and may be the periods will get back on track.

Brown discharge is usually the result of old blood. An irregular period or delayed (late) period can often shed older tissue that will begin with a darker burgundy or brown appearance because of the older cells being expelled during the start of your period. Bleeding during or after masturbation shouldn't be considered normal; you either need to use a water based lubricant, or be more gentle during masturbation.
