I've got the divorce papers filled out, I just need him to agree to sign them, because I would like to file them as jointly because I heard it goes more smoothly than filing single. What would be the best most calm way to approach him to sign the papers as joint. I was thinking about having my parents and his sit down with us to have him sign them. To keep a calm environment. Since I'm afraid he'll lash out and refuse to sign the papers or tear them up.

They told me the only other way to do it if my husband didn't come sign was to get the papers we had already well started into the divorce saying I was pregnant and it wasn't his but that wouldn't work in your case
You may be able to file but not go to court until after baby is here. In divorce papers they will set up child support, visitation, medical support for baby etc. but do yourself a favor and when they set child support immediately go to your child support office and have all checks go through state that way he and you is protected.
But anyways I filed for divorce and served him the papers but now it’s like I don’t know what to feel. Like I’m glad to be getting a divorce but now i don’t know what to feel about him. Soo..I had this happen. Basically I couldn't stand my now exhusband while I was pregnant..but it was because of a huge number of things that were going on. What he said, what he did, how he acted, etc. I waited until we had our second child and still kept trying to make it work even though I couldn't stand him more times than not. It got to a point where I couldn't take it anymore and it was obvious that it was unhealthy so I left him.
First...thank you ladies for all the feedback. Update: I did tell my lawyer that I'm pregnant and that it's not my soon to be ex husbands. My lawyer wrote up the settlement and cleverly noted that I'm pregnant ...not with his child and in a way that my ex won't know that I'm expecting. It's legal and my ex won't find out through the divorce papers or at all if I can help it. I did all that worrying for nothing and you all are great for the support!!!

well in short, i am legally seperated and went through the divorce proceedings and am waiting on the divorce papers now. i am in the military so i cant ask for a test since it still shows that i am married (i could get in a lot of trouble.) i had a few sexual partners and all with condoms. the last girl we had sex for maybe a week and there were no problems, also with a condom. the pool finally opened on base and i decided to go. after a couple of days of swimming there was nothing there.
A wk or so ago I posted that I'm in the process of getting a divorce and my current bf is my baby's father. t think anything can be done much more then what already has been to make that whole situation worse, though they were together for 11+yrs they were only technically married 2 1/2 months before they were legally separated and with her filing court papers for domestics every 3months and him offering to pay for the divorce and her reply being outstraight 'i'm not done using your insurance' i dont think she has any values or morales.
All that dating a guy in the throes of divorce will do is make him remember the nasty time during the divorce when he thinks of you. And who knows, he might already have his eye on some other woman -- men rarely divorce "just because," even if they are unhappy in their marriages ... they usually only will go through with it if someone who looks better is waiting. I am 10 weeks pregnant and have been married that long... My husband is not nice to me in the slightest. You told her you wanted to divorce? You went to see a lawyer, or had divorce papers presented to her? Until they day the legal process is complete (and I don't know where you live, so what the process is there or how long it takes) then you are not divorced, and you can stop that process at any time.
Do you WANT to divorce your wife? Does she want to be divorced from you?
jrobertson is right - the alcohol and meds will affect your judgement.
