I need to share my story and hopefully get some suggestions and support and wisdom out there. I recently turned 50. I my early 40's I suffered a series of losses in a short period of time - lost my dad, my mom, best friend from college, my sister had three brain tumors (3 separate operations and survived) my father in law, miscarriage, financial, etc. I never grieved all these losses, just pushed it inside so I could function. I wound up drinking to get thru the pain and became alcoholic.
It took years but myhealth has been better and Im getting alimony before the divorce has taken place. You can get alimony (maintenance support) once you move out. You may have to petition the court or he might willingly give it to you once you serve him with divorce papers. He will not want to go to court to give you the alimony so he might give it to you. I understand your health problems as I had panic too, but its all gone since I left him.
During an argument with my husband he said he will move out of state and not be in my child's life. I'm 30 weeks pregnant. I have recently calmly asked him if he meant it and he said yes. He does not want drama and thinks that I will turn our child against him. That is a complete lie I have never once said anything degrading humiliating or hurtful about my husband to anyone no matter how angry I was or hurt.

Girl your a doll! Thanks so so much for clearing everything up, that's one big thing that was stressing me. He mentioned again during an argument that it's "too easy" to take my son away from me. Now that I've read what you said there's no way he can. Theres nothing he can use against me based on what you said. Visitation rights I don't mind and will allow as long as he has his **** together.
A few days ago I went out with some friends and drank way to much, 2 shots of Tequila and 2 long island Ice Teas. This is alot for me and I was super sick. Two days later 2 bruises showed up, one on the top of my thigh and the other on my inner arm. I asked the people I was with and I did not injure these areas at all. The bruises are not purple they are just very dark small patches. I am going to the doctor however I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this before.
Find your inner strength and come out fighting!! It is very hard and you will want to give up, but find your support and hang on tight to them. Surrond yourself with people that will cheer you on and not bring you more stress!!

That's good to hear that he is paying child support, so that can't be an issue holding up the divorce then. Maybe the alimony situation is unresolved?
I don't understand how you think if he can't see or talk to his kids now, that that will change after the divorce? Maybe your fiancé needs to put that inn order in the divorce, that he have visitation rights to his children, that's if he wants to keep up a good relationship with them.
boyfriend is legally separated and actually finally hoping to finalize the divorce this week. He too is paying a ton of alimony and child support as well as left the ex the house and the contents in it. His ex also tried to use the kids against him to get extra money as he was nothing but a meal ticket to her. Luckily he has a pretty decent job so he's not exactly penniless but she definitely gets more than he brings home.

Going to therapy, church, support groups, (AA, celebrate recovery) is essential to maintain sobriety.
When you stopped pills did you stay clean for awhile before you started drinkung?
Being in active addiction you just switched drugs.
There is healing. There is freedom from the bondage of drugs.
It has been about 10 months now and I still get over the eevnts )seperation/divorce and all the ramifications that go along with it. I never wanted this and being the recipient of the divorce makes it so much harder. I am deperessed and lack confidence. It doesn't seem to get better, I try to trick myself sometimes, but it doesn't always work. The bottom line is that I still love my wife (ex) very much.
I'm doing child support and visitations for the protection of the child, because who knows in the long run we could get into a fight and no longer support her and ect. I would do it just for the child sake so it's not hurting her in the long run and you aren't doing it out of spit and revenge.
My husband and I separated in July because I discovered his affair. He said he hasn't loved for a long time and doesn't regret what he's done . I do know that in the state of Florida if you're married, your baby gets your husbands last name.. But! If you can prove you've been separated then it may change the circumstances a little. Have you filed for a divorce and it's in motion?
I have a few Major Concerns. Im 31m From Long Island NY. Im Married with a Child. I dont get Sex from My wife so iv been doing things that make me feel guilty but have now began counceling alone and with my wife to fix our sex life and my other problems. About 3.5 months ago i began stoping at the local park and ride and Recieved and only recieved oral sex from eather married bi men or single gay men this happned about 5 times unprotected up to about the 3 month point from my last hiv test.
I just returned from TCI on Long Island and had an extensive appointment with Dr. Bolognese there. I, too, am looking at surgery at sometime in the future (depending upon the outcome of a few more tests I need). He advised me that I would be in the ICU for a couple of days, then to a regular room for 3-4 days. After that, I would need to arrange for accommodations nearby for about 1 week.
I'm 39+2 days pregnant and need all the emotional support i can get. The pregnancy hasnt been easy to this day because i m going through a divorce while taking care of a two year old and no help (emotional and financial) from the father. Please pray for me so i can get through this !!!!
