I have the divorce papers in hand. My husband will be coming over to talk tonight. Where I will be laying down the law. I want to work thru this because I do love him And he is good to me. Other than the fact the yard cheated on me with a icky stripper.. things wont be there same. But I'm willing to try. For the kids if nothing else.. he will be tested for every std under the sun ( even those I have 2 that I was honest about)...

She said she has the divorce papers and wants him to sign them without taking them to a translator first he told her that he would sign them but he doesnt speak or read english yet..and she wont give the papers to him now that im pregnant..we have been talking to my lawyer about filling and running it in the papers but the only days he has off the lawyers office is closed..i was told we could pull the papers up our selves and have them ran in the paper and filled..

I've got the divorce papers filled out, I just need him to agree to sign them, because I would like to file them as jointly because I heard it goes more smoothly than filing single. What would be the best most calm way to approach him to sign the papers as joint. I was thinking about having my parents and his sit down with us to have him sign them. To keep a calm environment. Since I'm afraid he'll lash out and refuse to sign the papers or tear them up.

Pills make me sad thats why I quit. Im signing divorce papers on friday and Im very sad about it. Bad timing but perfect timing. In my mind I play out the whole thing. You may be able to file but not go to court until after baby is here. In divorce papers they will set up child support, visitation, medical support for baby etc. but do yourself a favor and when they set child support immediately go to your child support office and have all checks go through state that way he and you is protected.

I say go ahead and move, then your baby will be a citizen of that country. And what type of man or father does that make him to kick out his pregnant wife and right before the baby is born. I say pack your bag and get your ticket. Don't tell him anything. Just go. But first get the divorce papers. Sign them and file them. No one can claim the baby cause the baby isn't here yet. Do this before you leave. Make it easy so you don't have to stay.

First...thank you ladies for all the feedback. Update: I did tell my lawyer that I'm pregnant and that it's not my soon to be ex husbands. My lawyer wrote up the settlement and cleverly noted that I'm pregnant ...not with his child and in a way that my ex won't know that I'm expecting. It's legal and my ex won't find out through the divorce papers or at all if I can help it. I did all that worrying for nothing and you all are great for the support!!!

:) you just do... and it will be fine. I've only just signed my divorce papers (been about 18 mths+) and I'm due next week on Tuesday 12!! Told my kids when we reached 18 wks as I was concerned about my age and the possibility of there being problems - baby checked out all clear . When I told my kids one of my twins told me he was disappointed in me (lol he is 13) but it took only a week or two later and he was pretty excited along with his brother and sister.
