One of you suggessted listen to music,so I turned on the digital cable,and went to the country music,and while I cooked and cleaned I cranked up the volume and it really helped. When I sat down to take a break there was a song by Kenny Chesney that came on. It was the first time I ever heard it,it's called "Don't Blink". Anyway the song touched me so much I started to cry.If you get a chance you should listen to it.there are two verses that really touched me.

I've got the divorce papers filled out, I just need him to agree to sign them, because I would like to file them as jointly because I heard it goes more smoothly than filing single. What would be the best most calm way to approach him to sign the papers as joint. I was thinking about having my parents and his sit down with us to have him sign them. To keep a calm environment. But anyways I filed for divorce and served him the papers but now it’s like I don’t know what to feel. Like I’m glad to be getting a divorce but now i don’t know what to feel about him. I know this is very far from rap/hip hop, the song on my mind these last few weeks is Kenny Chesney's Better As a Memory.....I am going through a rocky divorce and as bad as it sounds, I wish my ex husband thought the lyrics Kenny sings, but he doesn't, but this song makes it easier on me to think maybe he (my ex) did.
You may be able to file but not go to court until after baby is here. In divorce papers they will set up child support, visitation, medical support for baby etc. but do yourself a favor and when they set child support immediately go to your child support office and have all checks go through state that way he and you is protected.
First...thank you ladies for all the feedback. Update: I did tell my lawyer that I'm pregnant and that it's not my soon to be ex husbands. My lawyer wrote up the settlement and cleverly noted that I'm pregnant ...not with his child and in a way that my ex won't know that I'm expecting. It's legal and my ex won't find out through the divorce papers or at all if I can help it. I did all that worrying for nothing and you all are great for the support!!!
When you go into labor and have to fill out papers, do you right your babies name or tell them?
