730826 tn?1317943334 My mil moved to australia leaving her son with his father. (the son was offered to go with but didnt want to) now with no discipline from the father, the boy moved out at 16 years old. He is now 17 and the father is moving across the country away from him. We spoke with him and my mil and they both think him living with my husband (his brother) and I is best. She said she would sign over custodial rights to my and hubby but Im having difficulty finding the process of where to start.
Avatar f tn Look on your opiate bottles that may something like, "Use care when operating a motor vehicle." . Ppl can and have been given OWI tickets when taking an opiate - as prescribed - and driving. We all roll the dice when we get behind a wheel. Sorry, I know nothing of the laws in Australia either. I can't think of a current member off the top of my head from Australia, sorry. I agree that you should Goggle the laws. Good luck. Please share with us what you learn. Thanks.
Avatar f tn Im from perth western australia and due october 23rd
Avatar f tn m still legally married to someone else and he refusing to file for divorce. I served him paper two years ago but signed them to late. SHOULD I tell him about the baby in hopes that he will then file for divorce. Or just let him discover my growing baby.
Avatar f tn Hey ladies not really much of prevnancy question but is there anyone from Australia particularly Western Australia on here that's due in May or due close to then, I would really like to get to know some people in the same position as me. Maybe even catch up?
10707428 tn?1415569790 My husband kicked me out yesterday. He said he wants a divorce because he doesnt love me anymore. This is all so sudden, and a shock to me, because i thought we had a great marriage. My question is, i want to move outside the country, im 7 months. My question is can i fly on plane across the ocean when im 7 months? Can he sue me for kidnapping his child even though he's not born yet?
Avatar f tn I have been wanting to leave my husband for several months now. And he is on to me that I'm seeing someone. Which I have been. But every time I tell him I don't want to be with him anymore, he forces our love for me to love him and I don't. I love him in a caring way but not an intimate way. Hes a type of person who gets hurt very easily, and I want to know how bad of an idea would it be if I told him I had been seeing someone for 7 months?....
Avatar n tn Statistically it is extremely unlikely your parter had HIV, which remains rare in western countries (including Australia) in heterosexuals without special risk factors; HIV is never transmitted by kissing or oral contact anywhere on the body, including (usually) oral-genital contact; HIV cannot be transmitted through clothing. HIV is harder to transmit than many people realize, and with rare exceptions, if a bare penis is not inserted into a vagina or anus, there no risk of transmission.
1032715 tn?1315984234 ninemsntoday The federal government has quickly moved to block any calls for sharia law in Australia. In its submission to the parliamentary inquiry into the government's new multiculturalism policy, The Australian Federation of Islamic Councils has called for Muslims to be granted "legal pluralism". Attorney-General Robert McClelland stomped on the request.
Avatar f tn There are privacy laws in Australia regarding disclosure of your health conditions in Australia. Also the rights of hbvers are protected by laws. I suggest you discuss your case with the Hepatitis Australia: http://www.hepatitisaustralia.com/ They have a National Infoline. They should be able to give you information and guidance. A requirement of immunization does not necessary mean you are ineligible for employment/study in this area.
Avatar n tn In the divorce paperwork they will set visitation. Idk what the laws are where you are but here in KY you can not file for divorce until the child is born. You can file for legal separation but that is it. I would go ahead and call a lawyers and see what the rules are in your area. You may be able to file but not go to court until after baby is here. In divorce papers they will set up child support, visitation, medical support for baby etc.
Avatar n tn our conservative approach to testing puts us at a disadvantage. In Australia and Western Europe, you actually do have access to better tests as you can be tested for HIV with the DUO tests which detect both HIV antigen and HIV antibody, thereby providing positive results even sooner following infection than antibody tests alone (HIV antigen may be detectable before HIV antibody tests are). The U.S.
Avatar f tn I was hoping my divorce would be over soon so i could just wait but i also heard that a divorce cant be finalized untill the baby is born
1301089 tn?1290666571 Believers in a literal and eternal interpretation of the Quran seem to have only one place to go with this verse, which basically says that Muslim men can own sex slaves. Moreover, according to Islamic or Sharia law, a woman has no right to divorce, as only a man does, a right he may freely exercise in some Muslim areas merely by saying the word talaq—"I divorce you"—three times. A man can then proceed to marry another woman and another after that by doing the same thing.
1237757 tn?1323143119 I would say to check with the laws in Australia as I'm sure that there is some form of protection for people with chronic illness in the work place. Discrimination does happen regardless of laws, but if you know the law at least you will also know how to protect yourself if that happens.
Avatar f tn Yes us and western world don't discriminate on basis of HIV or hbv status in laws. However can't say on practical and individuals thinking.
1310633 tn?1430224091 A new and unusual land speed record has been set in Australia - for the fastest motorised toilet. Canadian stunt woman Jolene Van Vugt recorded a speed of 75km/h (46mph) at in Sydney, beating the previous record by 7km/h. "I flew into Australia yesterday and came out here to jump straight on the toilet," she said. "That was so fun and I'm stoked to get the record." In order to win the title she was timed over 100m (330ft) in both directions.
Avatar f tn It would affect custody rights but seeing your children are raised that is not an issue. This is how it is in Canada, and our divorce laws are similar I think. I bought a book on law and divorce when I went through mine. It was enlightening to say the least. We were **** poor broke so there wasn't a lot of marital assets. I did threaten him with all I would do to him if he didn't pay for the lawyer for the divorce though. So at least I got $1000 out of the dead beat.
Avatar m tn Does anyone know if/where/how I might be able to take the Western Blot HSV test in Australia? Also after reading my story can you think of anything else that may have caused the symptoms that I described? Your responses would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for this great forum.
Avatar f tn I saw your comments on the other thread, so came here to see what you posted. I can completely understand your frustration, if he wouldn't even give you a copy of labs. If you were in the U.S, the doctor would be required, by law, to give you a copy upon request; however, I don't know your laws there in Australia. I guess that means he didn't test for thyroid antibodies, either?
Avatar f tn She asked for a divorce and in return he chopped her head off. Word has it that it was suppose to be an "honor killing". I hope he will get the death penalty. I hope he does not disappear like the muslim father in TX who killed his two beautiful daughters because they became "to western". He booked out and nobody can't find him. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,493645,00.
