I'm newly pregnant about 4 wks here's issue,
I have been legally married for 17 years but for the last 7 years not with "ex"husband at all. We live together in separate rooms because I want to raise my 4 older children and can't afford a divorce since all our assets are tied together. I've been with another man for the last 4 years privately and in love .. Next year I was planning to take action and make things happen as in divorce papers ..
The finances can be complex related to divorce and each situation is different. Each state has different laws too. Do you know the laws of your state? Is the house in both your names? I understand the fear you have of losing money on the house and having to find another home for yourself. It stinks. Getting a spouse out is a bit hard. Divorce should do it but you need someone to advise you. Document everything related to his drug use. Take pictures. Record things.
The problem is about EXPECTATIONS!! We expect too much from our in laws at the time of pregnancy. We want them to care us like our mother n father but we have to remember they are our in laws not our real parents. Our parents gave so much love to us so we expect same from others. I used to feel same when I am still 35 weeks pregnant but now I am used to it and expect less from my MIL..
So we planned to start a family and I got conceived in the 4th month after my marriage. Everything was fine and my in-laws took extreme care of me and were happy. But in my 4th month of pregnancy, they all of a sudden asked me if I know the sex of the baby in my womb and they asked me to go to some small hospitals and check it. I didnt understand why they were saying so. But I didnt do it.
m still legally married to someone else and he refusing to file for divorce. I served him paper two years ago but signed them to late. SHOULD I tell him about the baby in hopes that he will then file for divorce. Or just let him discover my growing baby.
I have been wanting to leave my husband for several months now. And he is on to me that I'm seeing someone. Which I have been.
But every time I tell him I don't want to be with him anymore, he forces our love for me to love him and I don't. I love him in a caring way but not an intimate way. Hes a type of person who gets hurt very easily, and I want to know how bad of an idea would it be if I told him I had been seeing someone for 7 months?....
They were good with me in high school - because I moved in with them for a while until my husband and I got married. But now she is treating me like I don't know how to take care of my children. I DO! She didn't like it when her MIL did that but I k now her and she is a kind woman. My MIL still says negative things about her - why? I don't know. But I do know that she likes me and so does the other part of the family.
In the divorce paperwork they will set visitation. Idk what the laws are where you are but here in KY you can not file for divorce until the child is born. You can file for legal separation but that is it. I would go ahead and call a lawyers and see what the rules are in your area. You may be able to file but not go to court until after baby is here. In divorce papers they will set up child support, visitation, medical support for baby etc.
After the baby is born go get papers at the court house for an uncontested divorce with no children and if they ask its not his. It may sound kind of like on the Maury show but if u ou truly believe he will bring nothing but hardship on the baby erase him from the situation. Sometimes you have to play dirty to protect your baby.
thete are great men out there who will love your baby. I didn't think so until I found my guy.

I had no freedom at my parents house. Being in a joint family I was expected to do house hold chores, work in kitchen as young as 12. The concept of vacation was going with family, being criticized & compared. After completing my graduation I wanted to pursue higher education, which was rejected by my mother. But i still went ahead. I would study even after being tortured for not to. I got myself an highly reputed degree, and just post that I got married.
There's really nothing you can do, it's their house. They're always gonna have an opinion. That's how it was when my husband and I lived at my parents house for about a month. We would tell them to let us learn, and nothing changed. Good luck though.
I would definitely put him in a time out whenever he tries to hit the cats or does anything else that is unacceptable. You could also try taking toys away or a reward system where he can earn them back if he's plays nice with the cats. Whenever he hits the cats, just say calmly Don't hurt the cats.
Its like this, if you come over to my house, I don't drink alcohol, and don't want people doing that in my house, then out of respect for me they don't drink. Substitute whatever you want in there. The thing is it is MY house, and I have THE RIGHT to say what goes on in my house and what does not.
The same thing with our country. We have THE RIGHT to set the standards. The reason our country is in such a mess is because there are no standards. There is no right or wrong anymore.
Sounds like a good opportunity to get rest while they are there. Explain to his mom that you would like to take a nap and where the items are for your baby should she need a diaper change. If your breast feeding feed her before you nap and hand her off. Ask if they don't mind tidying up your hpuse while they're there as well.
Ignorance I know first hand cause my n laws really wreck my nerves. Most days I'm stuck hollering at kids and I don't understand I will shut my door and lock it some me time. Everyone beats down my door if I'm sleep and don't answer they will call my phone 1000 times annoying as hell. This is my first child but they expect for me to get up every morning get my nephew ready for school and take him but I quit after him missing a few days they got the picture.
This is my second time posting about this sorry but I'm sick and tired of my in-laws, I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant with my second son and they have turned my 3 year old into the worst spoiled bad behaved child.They don't know their place and no matter how many times we tell them to stop they just don't. I'm sick of it and it's stressing me out so much!

in this period no body know in his family we get married.if any one come to my house they hide me because some problem.my parents not accept my marriage.his parents accepted.now my parents and his parents accept our marriage.they are telling again marry because we want to full fill our happiness..now I want to know is we are ready to marry but some people are telling after 3 years 6 months you can't marry some problem are happen.dont marry they are telling.now you people tell me .
The house is never clean. They are hoarders I swear. The 17 month old had batteries in his mouth one day. They let them run into the other room and say, 'he will be fine' then wonder why he gets into stuff. I've tried explaining to hubby but he gets angry at me and says I'm over reacting and they're fine. I am soo pissed right now.
my boyfriend whos getting a divorce in march comes from a very rich family whos crazy about having kids on their side. my boyfriends mother put it in her sons head to divorce his wife and take their son. the mother has no contact with the kid anymore. my boyfriend got his wife into drugs and thats what they hold agaisnt her. i dont get along with my boyfriends parents at all because they think im a gold digger.
