Common Questions and Answers about Divorce care reconciliation

divorce

Avatar f tn Yes, I am still with the same partner. Almost 1 year now. My ex-husband has just asked for a divorce, finally giving up all hope of a reconciliation, and instead of making me feel like I can go on with my life, it made me feel awful and actually consider a possible reconciliation. But clearly, if I am contagious that's a non-starter. I have changed doctors and trying to get the more specific test without having to pay £260.
Avatar f tn I'm pretty sure that my husband cheated on me. I'm worried bc I'm on his insurance and I'm only 19 weeks pregnant. Should I file for divorce now or wait until after the baby?
5811228 tn?1374718728 I have been married for 9 years and 5 months but recently a divorce has been filed due to me having an affair. I know that was wrong of me but I regret everything I have done. We have a son together and it makes things harder. My husband has told me to give him time and space and to respect his feelings. That a divorce is my punishment for cheating. I understand that but it's hard to let him go after he told me he would give me 5 months to change. I have made the necessary changes.
Avatar f tn There is a guy I like and he is getting a divorce. It's only been about 2 months into the process, how soon can I say something? I know him through a business I go to. Would be be fine to send a card and just state that I am sorry about the stress he is dealing with at this time and that I hope everything works out well for him? I have plans to take up lunch for his staff as I have often done things of this nature over the years. What are your thoughts?
454863 tn?1208306979 If you feel that there is a chance of making your relationship work or reconciliation, then I advise a marriage counselor or priest (whatever religious denomination if applicable) to get down to the real problem in your marriage. If after a short seperation, marriage counseling does not resolve your issues, seriously consider filing for a divorce and moving on with both your lives. Good luck...
Avatar f tn I have posted things on here before about if I should leave my husband but now I'm at the point where I told him the other day that I officially want a divorce but he doesn't understand why I want to leave him. I told him its because I don't have feelings for him anymore and we fight to much we are more like brother and sister and would be better being friends.
1301089 tn?1290666571 the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA, Public Law 111-148); and, following that, the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (H.R. 4872), which made a number of changes to provisions of PPACA along with significant changes to the federal postsecondary education programs. On March 20, 2010, CBO released its final cost estimate for the reconciliation act, which encompassed the effects of both pieces of legislation.

Avatar f tn My question is whether having altzheimers causes the person to return to extremely negative bahavior (extreme irrational anger, bitterness, stubborness and just plain hatefullness) towards adult children where there had been a reconciliation for 6 years? She also seems to lack care about the progress of her husband (who is 87) who is in a convelscent center with a broken hip.
Avatar f tn I do know you are eligible for Cobra (36 months I think) under his insurance at work. It is expensive but you would get a rate given to all their employees ..better than nothing. If he makes the big $$$$ and you have been married more than ten years, it is possible that he could be made to pay for the Cobra. Ask your lawyer about it.
10707428 tn?1415569790 My husband kicked me out yesterday. He said he wants a divorce because he doesnt love me anymore. This is all so sudden, and a shock to me, because i thought we had a great marriage. My question is, i want to move outside the country, im 7 months. My question is can i fly on plane across the ocean when im 7 months? Can he sue me for kidnapping his child even though he's not born yet?
Avatar f tn During an argument with my husband he said he will move out of state and not be in my child's life. I'm 30 weeks pregnant. I have recently calmly asked him if he meant it and he said yes. He does not want drama and thinks that I will turn our child against him. That is a complete lie I have never once said anything degrading humiliating or hurtful about my husband to anyone no matter how angry I was or hurt.
949288 tn?1263738633 Well ladies, as some of you know I am almost 35 weeks and have been dealing with high bp, gest diabetes, and pre term labor for the past few weeks. Right now we are at a good spot but trying to keep this baby baking for at least a few weeks more. Well, I've also been having quite a few problems on the home front lately. For the past few months I am just miserable. DH and I can't be in the same room together without fighting or somebody (mostly me) crying.
Avatar n tn I am a married 30 year old female. I have been married for 6 years now, but my husband and I have not been intimate in close to 5 years (years...not a typo). I think I have been very patient with him and have tried numerous times to initiate sex. He always turns me down. I am far from perfect, but I think I am fairly attractive and am in good shape and he is capable of getting an erection so I don't know what the problem is. Well, I have had enough and have decided to pursue a divorce.
Avatar f tn Anyways, I just am having a hard time balancing the stress of reconciliation, moving, pregnancy, and raising my son. Any tips, advice, words of wisdom? I would appreciate prayers to help my family be whole again!
Avatar m tn t work and she is the bread winner and in the past i used drugs to hide my pain and my pride. I only straighten up when she threatens divorce. Then I see what I have done. I ask her to point it out to me and she's tired of doing that. She doesn't have a life.
Avatar m tn Now is the question if I continue with going as far as a divorce. A part of me wants her back, however I KNOW that if she knew that I cheated on her, she will not want me back. I just need some advice, similar stories, lectures, anything at this point. Thanks The Confused One!
Avatar f tn So my husband and I have been seperated since June (almost my entire pregnancy) and he also filed for divorce. Its's been a very messy situation and he has caused a lot of unnecessary drama and stress to my pregnancy. He's made a kinds of allegations of mw cheating to me being abusive to him and our 2 yr old son. All of this really sycks because I am definitely considered "high risk pregnancy" which he knows but just simply doesn't care.
Avatar f tn ” Was this a good response if I want her to continue to think about me in hopes of reconciliation? I felt it was mature and selfless. But I can also see how it relieved her dumpers guilt and could help her move on more. She has not replied and it’s been two days. Do you see her ever reaching out again?
Avatar f tn i filed for divorce and im due in 3 weeks. Big ol mess.
Avatar f tn Girl we never know a man until we marry him. That's all I can say. If I could I would totally divorce my husband but the way we right we would be tangled up in court forever . I'd take a minute to think on it and maybe even present it to your husband that hey, motherfricker, you are about to push me into a divorce. I told my husband I wanted a divorce and since then he's been on his best behavior.
Avatar f tn We both have other priorities though- me with sorting out my divorce and taking care of my son, he has a ten year old son and is finishing his master's degree. Back 14 years ago we had an intense connection but it was never physical. Even though we are older (Im 30, hes 31) that spark is still strongly there. We are trying to keep it in perspective and not get too serous right now for obvious reasons. We are also trying to be very discreet when we see each other.
5944308 tn?1396478749 Congrats on day 4 and how awesome that your wife is considering the possibility of a reconciliation between the two of u. 4 days is something to be proud of.
Avatar f tn I agree with the other ladies. Your expecting to much. If it ain't for the kids or about them don't expect a thing unless there's talk of reconciliation.
