5111430 tn?1377663221 So my husband is on my last nerve! I'm done with it we've been together since February 21, 2011 got married February 25, 2013. All he does is blame everything on me constantly picking fights! He's always right and I'm wrong Im done with it all, idk what to do at this point besides divorce, but then what happens after divorce???? We have a 1 year old and I'm 17+1 with our 2nd what happens in court about custody?? Anyone been through this??
Avatar n tn s pretty blurry at plano, too. Both of my eyes are at plano, and I wear progressive glasses or bifocal contacts just about all the time. You could see what plano is like with a toric contact lens; it would improve your distance vision.
Avatar n tn He soild his underpants and then wiped it on the sofa, my question is- is this possibly related to the divorce or mabey something more??? Please help!!!!
Avatar f tn To: Ray T Oyakawa, MD and Michael J Kutryb, MD and any other MD who wishes to advise, I appreciate the wealth of knowledge shared by the professionals and the patients on this site. A few questions I have: Is it possible to have good distance vision with the Alcon toric lens when one has modified or mini-monovision -- i.e. if surgical eye is corrected to "plano" and the second eye is corrected to the mini-vision.
Avatar f tn I do know you are eligible for Cobra (36 months I think) under his insurance at work. It is expensive but you would get a rate given to all their employees ..better than nothing. If he makes the big $$$$ and you have been married more than ten years, it is possible that he could be made to pay for the Cobra. Ask your lawyer about it.
10707428 tn?1415569790 My husband kicked me out yesterday. He said he wants a divorce because he doesnt love me anymore. This is all so sudden, and a shock to me, because i thought we had a great marriage. My question is, i want to move outside the country, im 7 months. My question is can i fly on plane across the ocean when im 7 months? Can he sue me for kidnapping his child even though he's not born yet?
Avatar f tn I will have right non-dominant eye surgery in 8 weeks. Can I have the right non-dominant eye aim for plano distance vision (even though it is non-dominant eye)? Will it be very uncomfortable? Before surgery, very myopic : -11.00 and therefore, discrepancies with IOL master machine and surgeon had to guess the power to put in. Is there still much hope of improved distance vision with this left operated eye? (1 day post-op was blurry 20/40). Thank you so much.
Avatar m tn For those who are trying to decide what to target for monovision, minimonovision, I will share my opinion as to what I find best. If you are doing one eye only go for plano. Two eyes plano in dominant eye and .75 or 1.0 for the other. I have had both my eyes done and by trying many different lens combinations post surgery, I really like the plano/1.0 combo best.
Avatar f tn During an argument with my husband he said he will move out of state and not be in my child's life. I'm 30 weeks pregnant. I have recently calmly asked him if he meant it and he said yes. He does not want drama and thinks that I will turn our child against him. That is a complete lie I have never once said anything degrading humiliating or hurtful about my husband to anyone no matter how angry I was or hurt.
Avatar m tn t work and she is the bread winner and in the past i used drugs to hide my pain and my pride. I only straighten up when she threatens divorce. Then I see what I have done. I ask her to point it out to me and she's tired of doing that. She doesn't have a life.
Avatar m tn If you set your RE to have intermediate vision without glasses you will need glasses to read and for distance. you will wear progressive no line glasses with the LE being plano (0.00) Also with your history of uveitis you may need to start steroids much sooner than normal eyes. You should ask your retina surgeon about your plans and also when to start steroids and how to taper them. This is not normal surgery and your eye is not normal.
Avatar f tn I am worried about the possible additional problems with a toric lens, so my preference would be a standard monofocal lens set for plano, and when my right eye is ready, to do the same (plano.) The optometrist says that he thinks I can get my left eye set for plano because it would be less of a discrepancy than what I have now between the two eyes with glasses. I don't know what to do. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you so much for this wonderful forum.
Avatar m tn For a 2-3 year old that is a huge amount. It's likely he has pathological high myopia. Extremely important for him to be under the care of a pediatric ophthalmologist. Will need glasses, eventually contact lens or refractive surgery and the eye has a higher chance of having problems like macular degeneration or retinal detachment. No way to tell you what his vision will be or IF he will develop these problems. Was he premature? Or low birthweight? Or had to have oxygen at birth?
Avatar n tn 0D and another fixed lens of same material in my left dominant eye aiming for plano distance vision. My alternative choice is to not use the Crysalens in which case my surgeon said he'd target -1.25D in the non-dominant eye. I've had monovision for years, originally about .5D apart, but as my cataract developed it has gone to a 2.0D difference, so I feel I will readily adjust to monovision. I'm still kicking around whether to go with one crystalens vs the standard monovision.
Avatar f tn You stated that your surgical target is plano for your right eye, and your vision with an implant in your left eye is -1.25 D. What is your current (pre-surgery) vision in your right eye? Is it plano, or something very different? Most people don't have a problem adjusting to a difference between their eyes of 1.25 D. On the other hand, just about everybody would have a major problem with a 3+ diopter difference, and glasses might not help.
Avatar n tn Most popular are distance bias Plano OU and plan on wearing progressive bifocals mini-monofocal plano/-1.25 distance bias, -1.00 and -2.50 mini monofocal near bias, plano and -2.25 monofocal (hard for many to adjust to), and -2.50 near focus. Everyone will have a different preference. If I were having cataract surgery i would pick mini-monofocal near bias but that's just because for most of my life I'm used to reading and using the computer without glasses.
Avatar f tn So my husband and I have been seperated since June (almost my entire pregnancy) and he also filed for divorce. Its's been a very messy situation and he has caused a lot of unnecessary drama and stress to my pregnancy. He's made a kinds of allegations of mw cheating to me being abusive to him and our 2 yr old son. All of this really sycks because I am definitely considered "high risk pregnancy" which he knows but just simply doesn't care.
Avatar m tn He said they would not want any chance of correcting me beyond plano. They said I would hate them if that happened and it would not be a good situation. This Doctor's target for me was -1.50 Now I need to choose between 2 other Doctors. I have an astigmatism of 1.25 I know I'm repeating myself ...just need some clarification. Doc #1's target is -1.5 using a +6 power Alcon 1 piece Doc # 2 had me take out my contact (a toric) for 13 days before taking my measurements.
Avatar n tn Oyakawa, In your experience with the Alcon toric lens, is achieving a desired target of “plano” for good long distance vision difficult to attain? If a target of 2 meters is chosen is that close enough to “plano” to give good long distance vision and avoid the risk of “overcorrecting”? Is it possible to have good distance vision with the Alcon toric lens when one has modified or mini-monovision -- i.e.
Avatar f tn s. She opted for plano/plano done at a different practice. She is so upset that she can no longer read without glasses. She wants to consider IOL exchange. I have never had a myope that enjoys near vision without glasses that has been happy with plano/plano for post operative refractive error goal.
Avatar n tn I am very myopic. The cataract surgeon suggested prior surgery to go plano in the left eye in order to correct myopia. I was more leaning in leaving the eye somewhat myopic, because the other eye has only a very small cataract and I didn't know when the cataract surgery on that eye would happen. He (surgeon) told me that I could wear a contact lens in the other eye and most likely the other eye would develop a more stronger cataract since there is a moderate cataract present now.
Avatar m tn The goal was for my right (dominant) eye to be at plano. However after my checkup 10 days later, tests showed that I am at -1.25D. To compensate, my Dr mentioned 2 options: A) Shoot for plano in my left eye (non-dominant) and leave my right eye at intermediate vision, which I'm worried about adapting to B) Lasik my right eye (dominant eye) to plano and shoot for intermediate in my left My question is: 1. Which option (A or B) would be least risky and most likely result in better vision?
